[edit]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at David Kaiser. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. Bfigura (talk) 04:05, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Penijean Rutter, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. 98.248.33.198 (talk) 04:26, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Penijean Rutter. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Bfigura (talk) 04:28, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to Penijean Rutter. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. --Sidonuke (talk :: contribs) 04:29, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on David A. Kaiser. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Bfigura (talk) 05:18, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The short version here is that I'm not the only editor who thinks your edits are inappropriate (as Wikipedia is not a soapbox from which to promote yourself, your organization, or your associates). --Bfigura (talk) 05:23, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've replied on my talk page. Best, --Bfigura (talk) 05:49, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:39, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jounal of Neurotherapy

Hi, I considered removing the prod on this article, but could not confirm (neither on Informaworld nor on the society website) that the journal is listed in any major databases (Google Scholar doesn't mean much as it is all-inclusive). As it stands, the journal does not seem to meet the requirements of Wikipedia:Notability (academic journals). If you can provide links that show otherwise, I'll deprod, otherwise I would have to support deletion. --Crusio (talk) 04:22, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
