Regressive Left
[edit]Hello Fredperry2016, the current introductory section in the article Regressive left was arrived at after long discussions on the article's talk page. While it's true that the bloggers you cite have mentioned the phrase "regressive left", it has, in my humble opinion, very little to do with how the term/phrase is interpreted currently by many commentators who are mentioned throughout the article. So this little tidbit about some blogger coincidentally coining the same phrase in some random blog entry seems really out of place within the context of the article as it stands now, and frankly, it is not really notable since this particular instance and its definition has never been picked up by any commentator at all. That's why I have removed it for now. If you still think that it should be mentioned, please consider starting a discussion on this in the talk page of the article. Again, I have nothing against you contributing, but I feel you need to discuss it with other editors on the talk page before we decide what to do with this information, whether to include it or not, and if yes, where. I see that you have already opened up a discussion on it. Great. See you there. Zaheen (talk) 19:22, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
Hi, I can see that you are being bold and are very much interested into keeping this information in the article, but I think its notability is debatable and it's better to talk it out with other contributors on the talk page of the article who have been working on it for a while now. I assume you will engage in good faith and assume other are acting on good faith as well without resorting to namecalling or labeling. The lead section has come into being after long discussions between Wikipedians of different points of view. I will revert your edit one last time, but please note that is not an attempt to outright reject your contribution in any manner and I might turn out to be wrong. So please don't revert back and have a conversation first in the article's talk page and wait until it is decided what to do with the info. Thanks. Zaheen (talk) 14:06, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
