I just wanted to let you know that I have declined your speedy deletion request for this article. The speedy deletion process doesn't apply when there are multiple contributors to the article as is the case here. Even though you created the article, there have been many other people who have edited and expanded the article over the five years since then. For the article to be deleted, it will have to be done through the process outlined at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. - Edgar181's explanation is exactly right - we usually use Proposed Deletion and Speedy Deletion for circumstances where there is no question about what should happen. Here, that's not the case. I've created a discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Welsh, where I nominated the article for deletion. You're welcome to comment if you like, and I've copied your Proposed Deletion rationale there as well. Once 7 days have passed, or if consensus is overwhelming one way or another, then the debate closes and an administrator deletes the article. Feel free to let us know if you have questions. Thanks.
