DS Notice
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jaggi Vasudev; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. DBigXrayᗙ 08:04, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
Adding reference to Wikipedia articles
[edit]Hello Frederickarcher! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding well-formatted references is easy.
- While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite". Click on it.
- Then click on "templates".
- Choose the most appropriate template and then fill all relevant details. You can start with the field (e.g. URL) that has a magnifying glass icon and then click the magnifying glass to automatically populate the fields for you.
This will add a well-formatted reference, which will allow other people to see where you got your information from. You can read more about this at Help:Edit toolbar, or watch this video: File:RefTools.ogv. Thanks and regards. —DBigXrayᗙ 11:23, 22 July 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
Your reason here In my opinion, the page "Jaggi Vasudev", in its current state, is terribly biased and aimed solely at glorifying the person in question. I felt, therefore, that the page was missing balance. Hence, I added a "Criticism" section. My edits were, however, repeatedly reverted by a user called "My Lord". Subsequently, I explained my reasoning on the Talk page of "Jaggi Vasudev", where I received feedback that the references I had added were inadequate, following which I updated my references, this time including links to the official website of the organisation set up by Jaggi Vasudev. I think, my contribution to the page is important as it makes the page more neutral. Thanks Frederickarcher (talk) 07:58, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time. You have not adequately addressed the reason for your block.
Please see our policy on edit warring. In the event of a content dispute, editors are required to stop reverting, discuss, and seek consensus among editors on the relevant talk page. If discussions reach an impasse, editors can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution.
Points to ponder:
- Edit warring is wrong even if one is right.
- Any arguments in favor of one's preferred version should be made on the relevant talk page and not in an unblock appeal.
- Calling attention to the faults of others is never a successful strategy; one must address one's own behavior.
To be unblocked, you must affirm an understanding of all of this, and what not to do, and what to do when in a content dispute. Thanks, Dlohcierekim (talk) 09:11, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Bbb23 (talk) 15:17, 27 July 2019 (UTC)- After your previous block for edit-warring expired, you resumed editing the same article. Your second edit, today, restored "your version" of the article. If this conduct persists after this block expires, the next block will be indefinite.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:18, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
