Re: Proposed edits to Heaven's Gate (religious group)
[edit]Could you please give other editors an idea of what you mean by "much more detail regarding the mass suicide" when comparing the two articles? As you've pointed out, the material in the Marshall Applewhite article doesn't have any referencing attached to it at all, while the Heaven's Gate article itself does. In your opinion what are the specific details you think are missing from Heaven's Gate (religious group) that you believe warrants being added to the article even though it's through the use of unreferenced material? Please reply on the article's talk page. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 19:39, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:18, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

re: The-Police Outlandos-d'Amour-yellow.jpg and The Police Outlandos d'Amour original front cvr.jpg
[edit]Hi Fp cassini. The issue, and it is not an obvious one, is that the non-free policy requires that the images add significantly to reader's understanding. The increase in understanding of the article's topic must be significantly greater also than what they would gain from text alone; this is rarely provable where the images are significantly the same. If there was a reliable source that discussed the different artwork then hosting the images would be arguably acceptable as the discussion would make less sense without an image to discuss. - Peripitus (Talk) 12:02, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
Alan Price
[edit]I noted your comments left on the Alan Price discussion page. This would probably have been best left on Gyrofrog's talk page as it was he who you were addressing. However as I agree with him and taking your comments into account , I have taken the bold move of addressing your worries.
Firstly I am interested in music pages and feel that it is not neccessarily fans who would enter album details, also if there can be improvements then a written contribution is most lodgical.
The edits you refer to appear not to have been saved and so I have sorted that out and also utlised a page already created for A Gigster's Life for Me. I have also created a discography page. Good luck with your editing--Tunebroker (talk) 18:00, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for February 4
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited God in Mormonism, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pearl of Great Price (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
