Hi. I see you're looking for some help with Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Paul Stallan - I'm happy to try. You might want to start with Help:Wiki markup and Help:Cheatsheet for help with the syntax. If you get it looking clean, somebody will review it in due course. Please make it neutral, as you appear to have a connection with the subject. Thanks. Jamesx12345 16:15, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Jamesx12345, Many thanks for your comment and offer of help. I would very much appreciate this. I am an architecture student in Scotland with an interest in current Scottish architects. I chose the architect Paul Stallan because I like his work and also as a first attempt at a complete wiki article. A number of other current Scottish architects have articles; e.g. Gordon Murray & Alan Dunlop Architects, Richard Murphy Architect, Malcolm Fraser Architect, Gordon Benson & Alan Forsyth. I will have another look at the article and explore what you suggest and then re-engage with you. F&F

Jamesx12345, Please could you have a look at the article on Paul Stallan. I have tried to substantiate each reference I have made to a credible external industry source. I guess there is a knack to doing this and keeping some sentence structure. If you think it needs thinned down or changed please advise or better still if you have a moment to define better it would be much appreciated. Thank you. Hi. I'm making a few changes - a lot of the article needs improvement before it can be published. I've filled in the first ref "properly", but it would be great if you could do the rest. There's more info at cite web. Thanks. Jamesx12345 19:12, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jamesx12345, I have had another go at simplifying article. had a look at the templates you suggested but struggling a bit to understand how to use them. In short I have taken a chunk of material out. I came across another architect who worked with Paul Stallan who has a wiki article called Tony Kettle. Tried to develop a similar structure. Hope this is an improvement? Your critical comment would be much appreciated. F&F

Help

[edit]

I have stripped the article on Paul Stallan down removing text that was not well supported by a reliable source. i.e. as advised a citation to a reference must verify the statement in the text. If the citations I have detailed are not linked to reliable sources please could someone advise? I have also reconsulted the 'five pillars' and would confirm that I have I hope kept the article on Paul Stallan; encyclopaedic and neutral, citied reliable and authoritative industry sources and kept it succinct and the style simple. I would certainly be open to people correcting or adding material. It's a short article perhaps someone might improve it for me? I am not sure what else I can do. Could someone review. Many thanks.
