[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen (Forbliss) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.
There are two issues with this:
- It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization or adding links to its website.
- Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.
Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Born For Bliss. Thank you. Scopecreep (talk) 19:43, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
Hi Scopescreep. I just read your Talk.. I'm really new at editing pages, uhh, I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong. I am writing a wiki page about one of my favorite bands and did choose a username that was too close to the band name and therefor there is a conflict of interest?? Please help me out here and tell me what I should do know. Forbliss (talk) 20:48, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
Just noticed the same thing on this page that I did. Frank Weyzig. I really don't know what to do next.. Delete the edits I did and let someone else with a different username edit the pages? Forbliss (talk) 20:56, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, I've seen your message, but I've been out all day and not time to respond in detail now. I'll do so in the morning Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:47, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- I deleted your recent article because it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the musicnotability guidelines. It was also written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced spammy claims include: created thrilling sounds... early, exiting period... added a special dimension... ultimate seductive sound output... proved impressively... addicting club hit... made its way high into the German alternative charts... impressed with original songwriting, interesting arrangements and charismatic vocals... entered high into the German alternative album-charts... successful album release... established himself again on the horizon of alternative music.
