First of all, we have talk pages for a reason: please do not use email unless there is a pressing reason to do so. Second, was this really headed toward article space as an article on a notable person (notable by our standards), or was this just a favor for a friend? If the latter, I can restore it--but since you haven't done anything else on Wikipedia, and since you have not edited that sandbox page in a way that suggests you were working on an actual article, I saw this as nothing more than a violation of WP:NOTWEBHOST. Again, if you want to work on this and make this an actual article, I can restore it. Drmies (talk) 01:51, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, I wasn't sure if I should use talk or email for this type of issue. The plan is to make this an actual article for my friend Steve De Filippo, who is the father of Jessica De Filippo. The article is about Jessica De Filippo, a Canadian professional women's soccer player who currently plays for Sporting de Huelva with Liga F in Spain. I realize the progress has been slow on getting this article together, but I'm getting the information from the family and they haven't been very quick to deliver or decide what content they want on the page. They're also not happy with any of the personal pictures the have of their daughter, so we're planning a photoshoot when she flies back into Canada next week.
- If you could please restore the page for me so I can finish and publish the article, that would be appreciated. We are hoping to have the article published by the end of November at the latest. We are still making edits, and don't want to publish it until it has been completed. Once it's finalized I will move it from my Sandbox towards a new title.
- Thank you, Football1971 Football1971 (talk) 13:55, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- You got it. Listen, one of the things that I found odd was that another editor (your friend, I suppose) also started editing the thing--usually two editors with no mainspace edits writing like that is a sign of fishiness, so I'm glad you explained. I'll restore the draft, and I'll suggest one thing: you have those inline URLs, if I remember correctly: replace them as soon as you can with proper citations (WP:CITE), which makes everything look so much more legit. Drop me a line (look at WP:MENTION) if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help. Drmies (talk)

Hello,
I uploaded a picture that I own to Wikimedia Commons, but it wasn't properly named, so I edited the picture to remove some shadows and cropped it and uploaded my new file, which I didn't name properly either.
If you cold possibly delete the 1st picture (Jessica De Filippo Uruguay 2018.png) that I edited and replaced with the 2nd picture, and then rename the 2nd picture (Jessica De Filippo - 2018 CONCACAF U-17 Championship in Trinidad and Tobago.png) to "Jessica De Filippo Trinidad and Tobago 2018.png". Or if it's easier, just delete both and I will upload the picture again with the proper name.

- Hiya Football1971! Unfortunately, admins on en-wiki don't all have admin privileges on Commons. You will be better off asking over there for assistance. - UtherSRG (talk) 19:04, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
