Welcome!
Hello Fnfal, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
At Wikipedia, new Users do not automatically receive a welcome; not even a machine-generated welcome. Welcome messages come from other Users. They are personal and genuine. They contain an offer of assistance if such assistance is ever desired.
I suggest to everyone I welcome that they may find some of the following helpful — there’s nothing personal in my suggestion and you may not need any of them:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Avoiding common mistakes
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Dolphin (t) 11:24, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Navier–Stokes equations do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Crowsnest (talk) 18:25, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Your edits to Fluid dynamics and related articles
[edit]Hi Fnfal! Welcome to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've made a number of edits to articles related to fluid dynamics. If you're interested, check out WP:FLUID, Wikiproject Physics's Fluid Dynamics task force. The project doesn't have many active editors and it would be great to have your assistance.
With regard to your edits, please see WP:SCICITE for guidelines on when citations are needed for scientific articles. Inline cites are not needed if the knowledge is uncontroversial, for example, the definition of viscosity. Additionally, "References" sections are generally reserved for sources referenced in the article. If you are going to add a reference, please add an inline citation rather than a general reference (as you did here. I know you know how to because I've seen you do it! If there isn't a specific place in the article where the source is cited, it should not be added to the general list of references.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave a note on my talk page or reply here. I hope to see you contributing further to Fluids articles in the futureCorvus coronoides talk 13:26, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Stokes drift may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s and 1 "<>"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Solution 1D Stokes-drift example
[edit]Dear Fnfal, on Talk:Stokes drift an exact solution has been added for the example of Stokes drift in a one-dimensional flow – which very nice example you provided in your book and in the WP article on Stokes drift. Best regards, Crowsnest (talk) 10:47, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
