Can you explain why'd you remove an image? Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 18:45, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I did already, but you must not have read. It's a redundant image. The aircraft in the image in question (N37437) is a 737-900ER, not a 737-900 as you claimed when you added it. There was already one of these on the fleet page. The fleet page should only have one image of each aircraft sub-variant, and it already has a 737-900ER image. Additionally, the 737-900 isn't really unique enough from the 737-900ER to merit an image, however, had you actually posted a 737-900 picture I would have left it.
Here's a link to the FAA registration showing that the aircraft in the image is actually an ER:

Maybe you are right about N37437. But instead of removing it completely, maybe you should replace it with an actual Boeing 737-900. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 20:19, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There's no "maybe" about it, I gave you the source to prove it.
No picture at all is more accurate than a wrong picture.
Maybe you shouldn't add pictures that are incorrect. Please stop trying to police this page from people who actually know and touch United's fleet. As you put it to someone else...don't start edit wars. FlySlow440 (talk) 20:44, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"There's no "maybe" about it, I gave you the source to prove it.": I replaced the current image with an actual 737-900 hours ago.
"Maybe you shouldn't add pictures that are incorrect.": Humans like me make mistakes in life and I thank you for fixing it. When you removed the image, I thought you were vandalizing since you didn't give a reason for your edit.
"Please stop trying to police this page from people who actually know and touch United's fleet.": Sometimes which I reach disagreements like this one, I act like a complete fool but now I've admitted fault. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 02:49, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
