Hello, Fluteflute/Archive 1, I'm Kafziel. I noticed you were new, or at least that nobody has officially welcomed you yet, so let me be the first to say hello, give you some tips, and share a few useful links.
I know they're a little boring (okay... a lot boring) but they may come in handy someday.
I give every newcomer two tips for adding content: cite references whenever possible, and try to set aside any personal points of view. Aside from that, just be patient and receptive, ask questions whenever you need to, and have a good time.
Now that you have your own user name, you can sign your discussions on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically stamp your user name, the time, and the date. That will help other users reply to your posts. You may also want to fill out your user page to tell others a bit about yourself.
I hope this information is useful to you, and I'm looking forward to seeing your contributions. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me for help. Good luck, and happy editing! Kafziel17:36, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Thebugradiowhite.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Thebugradiowhite.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:12, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi, Flutefluteflute. I reverted the dog pic removal because I rotate these headers on my page. If you want, I can help you set up the same type of thing in your userspace, it's pretty easy. Then you can add any pic you want in the corner too! :-) Regards, Rfrisbietalk19:53, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Right now, I do it manually, just when I feel like it, but when I wrote that, I thought, "Oh, I could do that like the quotes & pics at the top of my talk page!" By the way, when we move it, you can change the links at the top to your area as well. Let's just talk about it here. :-) Rfrisbietalk19:58, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
I switched the talk page header. However, it doesn't work right on your main page with the userbox box for some reason. That should get you started. :-) Rfrisbietalk20:15, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Help Me
I wanted to create a category of wikipedians who listen to Just a Minute but I think I have messed something up badly. The pages involved are:
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

A member of my family has been vandalizing Wikipedia. Everytime I try and edit a page (except this one) it says I am blocked. It says that:
Your account or IP address has been blocked from editing.
You were blocked by Slowking Man for the following reason (see our blocking policy):
Vandalism
Your IP address is 80.41.5.124.
He was doing this on another computer on our wireless network (which I guess has the same IP?). Anyway, should I still be able to edit Wikipedia as I have this user account? I thought logged in members are treated differently? -- FluteflutefluteTalkContributions14:29, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Put {{unblock-auto|I share an IP address with my family, and can't edit because of the block}} on the bottom of this page. I think. Blame me if it's wrong. -Amarkovblahedits16:10, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
A Series of Unfortunate Events has been nominated for WP:AID, a weekly cleanup drive. Please vote for it as it will both help improve the quality of the page, but also it will get more Wikipedians editing ASUE pages.
Welcome to the first issue of the Novels WikiProject's newsletter! Use this newsletter as a mechanism to inform yourselves about progress at the project and please be inspired to take more active roles in what we do.
Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. I have approved your request and you should now be able to use the AWB application. Be sure to check every edit before you save it, and don't forget to check out the AWB Guide. You can get any help you need over on the AWB talk page. Feel free to contact me with any questions, Alphachimp05:56, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Special note to spamlist users: Apologies for the formatting issues in previous issues. This only recently became a problem due to a change in HTML Tidy; however, I am to blame on this issue. Sorry, and all messages from this one forward should be fine (I hope!) -Ral315

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Giveawaylogo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot04:30, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
