Ways to improve Ariana Kulinczenko

[edit]

Hi, I'm Helenabella. Fltwod, thanks for creating Ariana Kulinczenko!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi there. Wikipedia has some rules about requiring sources for biographies of living persons. I've put a tag at the top of your new page that has some links that will explain and help you fix it.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.  Helenabella (Talk)  06:11, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Fltwod. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Maccabee Los Angeles (Not Maccabi Los Angeles)

[edit]

The team is called Maccabee, not Maccabi. There are multiple photos that show the team's logo and name online.[1][2]. There's even a photo used by U.S. Soccer that shows the jersey saying "Maccabee" but the article title calls the team "Maccabi." [3].

"The son of a Nazi party member, Gudegast was proud to join the predominantly Jewish Maccabees, as all former players affectionately call the LA giants who won an astonishing five Open Cups between 1973 and 1982. 'when we were kids in Germany in the 1950s, we didn’t discuss the War beyond saying we lost.' Said Braeden, born and raised in Bredenbek in Germany’s north. 'So joining the Maccabees was an intellectual awakening for me. I wore the shirt with pride. It was mostly about playing soccer, but it was a little more than that too.'"

The word Maccabees is even spelled that way in Jewish lore. What is your basis for changing the name? ColeTrain4EVER (talk) 00:05, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
