Intro
Hi Andromeda, and welcome to Wikipedia.
Thankyou for finding the time to sign up and contribute to our little project. If you're in doubt about anything, you might want to check out some of these pages:
- Welcome, newcomers - a general introduction, and a good starting point
- The help centre and FAQs
- The Manual of Style - a guide to the community's writing conventions
It's also a good idea to sign the new user log and add a little about yourself.
When contributing to a talk page, you can sign your name by typing four tildes after your comments, like this: ~~~~. (Just so you know, some people won't pay attention to unsigned comments).
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me at my talk page, or at the Help desk or Village Pump.
Above all, make sure you be bold when contributing, and have fun!

Marichalar
Saludos.
Green Lantern
Cool work on those pages.. those boxes are a perfect addition..
Wonder Woman
Why is it necessary to include this level of detail about recent plot developments? Please answer on Talk:Wonder Woman. Tverbeek 2 July 2005 15:48 (UTC)
Dvirgueza
Hello. I noticed the way you've been paying attention to that user and to the things he's been doing. Yes, I noticed blocking him didn't work. And yes, I'm sure those anonymous accounts are the same person as well. Thing is, it's always hard to deal with problems like this. Someone could try a range block (I don't know how to deal with that very well, so I better not try myself) but I don't think it would be very effective either. Seems like the guidelines are to keep the range block up for a very short period. That doesn't sound good at all. I think the only solution is to revert. On and on and on and on, until it ceases.
With all the reverting, you might become concerned about the 3RR rule. Every user is a target of it. I believe the only exception is when you're dealing with clear vandalism, and since that user refuses to listen to anyone else, I think it's more than about time to start seeing him as a vandal. There are already enough people concerned about this, so I'm not sure someone would accuse any of us of breaking the 3RR. But I really don't know. What is always a good idea is to leave things the way they are for a while, once in a while. Like it's said somewhere on some policy page here on Wikipedia, "if it's really important, someone else is gonna do it", or something like that. Meaning you don't have to do everything by yourself. I guess sometimes we just have to take a break and come back later to see what went on.
That's it. If you have any other problems or if you think of a better solution, please tell me about it. I also posted a message pretty much like this one on User:Jrp's talk page, since he asked me about this as well. I hope you're okay with that.
P.S.: Nice user name. =]
See you.--Kaonashi 03:18, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm aware of the 3RR rule and I'm being careful of not breaking it on purpose.
- I've been IRCop, I know it's difficult to deal with this kind of vandals. It's just so damn frustrating. He doesn't give a damn about anyone else's opinion or the rules... him blaking his talk page is proof of it, I think.
- Thank you for your concern and pardon for any trouble.
Just so you know Dvirgueza has been adding images to various pages of the Japanese Anime known as Digimon mostly with the characters from the first season and the Digimon: Digital Monsters (anime) page. I turned one of the pictures into a thumbnail but I didn't know at the time that it did not have a license. I just thought you should know about it. From User # 24.20.153.45
"(Season x)"
Hi, I noticed you took out all the empty Season descriptions in your list of Goa'ulds. I put them in because I thought that the events detailing their demise should be given a time position (mainly because, as the show progresses, all of these characters are going to be dead). Just to say that the "(Season x)"'s can be left out, but perhaps we need to try to work the actual numbers back in?
- I have no problem with the links if they have a season number (though, perhaps, shortening it to "s. 8" may be better displaying-wise). I just thought the "season x" links gave no information. Of course, having actual number in all of them would be the better option. I'm more centered in Atlantis now, though. --Andromeda 18:41, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
As a member of WikiProject Comics, I thought you might be interested in the Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight we have set up. Please feel free to vote on the articles listed, although bear in mind that a vote for a particular article means you are pledging to help improve the article. The goal of the collaboration is to improve articles to Featured Article status, as we feel Comics is under-represented in that area. Thanks for your help. Hiding talk 19:35, 17 September 2005 (UTC)

Stargate Portal
Hi, there. I changed the colors because the light purple box color is hard on the eyes and dark blue is a better theme with Stargate (alot of things in the show have blue color). It would make it unique and not the same as everyone's else's (beginner portals have are usually light purple). So, again, I request it be left with the dark, dark blue title background. A bright lavender does not seem fitting. Thanks.~ --Eeee 07:18, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Just a question
The ATA gene therapy- is it permenant? I thought it was only temporary which is why I removed that line about it proving Major Lorne has the gene from his article. Thanks. Deskana (talk page) 09:16, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
SGC list
Howdy, I've just been looking over the Stargate Project talk page and was wondering if you were still interested in doing the list for Stargate SG-1 similar to what you did for Atlantis. Please let me know if you are and what sort of assistance I could provide. KorbenDirewolf
Hi. I'm afraid that the image above has no source information, which we need in order to verify copyright status. Can you provide a detailed description of where the image has come from? If not, the image is in danger of deletion. Thanks for understanding. Jkelly 04:26, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
Lichtenstein changes - rationale
I removed the family information from these pages because I've built it all into the Princely Family of Liechenstein page, which is now the hub for all pages on the present royal family. My plan is that the individual pages will contain only info about the origin, specific doings of the person, and brief mention of their marriage and children, but the family bio detail, unless of special significance, will be on the family page. why did you revert my huge upgrade to Portal:Stargate
Hi, I recently descovered how unseless the portal was. It had no links to any Stargate pages acutaly useful. I added a huge topics section at the bottom which actualy enabled it to be useful, and not just a collection of feeatured stuff. Why did you delete it? Tobyk777 01:10, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
A bunch of links do make it useful. As I have been saying about every portal and the mainpage redisgn, the whole point of a portal is to let readers get to the article they want to read. The odds are that the featured article isn't the one the reader came for. the odds are the Featured pic isn't the one they came to see. The whole point of a portal is navigation, to make it possible to get to the right page Junk that Portal engineers call "features" just obstructs that goal. If you have the Stargate portal to every stargate page, then the portal will be doing it's job. A user who wants to find a page about Stargate could go to the portal, and select the right page. The whole reason portals exisit is to help readers navigate. This portal along with tons of others right now don't do their purpose. My solution will let the portal do it's purpose, by allowing navigation. Tobyk777 02:51, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
- Now I just have a question for you Andromeda: From the Stargate portal could you find This page within 30 seconds. Or this one for that matter. I couldn't. If you are like me, and despite being an excelent web-surfer you can't fin either of these pages instantly from this portal, this portal is useless. both of these pages would be very easy to find along with dozens more in my solution to the total uselessness of this portal. What portals should be is a collection of links. Other "Features" aka "total junk" are secondary or might even be unecisary. Tobyk777 02:51, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
SG-1 is a faction
Not only is SG-1 a faction, but it's the most important one in all of Stargate. (We have sections for very insignifacnt things like the sodan on the template) I don't know why you keep deleting it when I add it. Whatever the reason STOP Tobyk777 07:00, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Very nice work on Portal:Stargate
Hi, I saw what you just did with the portal. It looks great. Sorry if I offended you on the project page. It shows major improvement. Soon one of us might be able to nominate it as a featured portal. Tobyk777 01:32, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Deleting the two section I added
Hi, the guy who deleted the section on featured pics deleted it because he said that they were not fair use. This one is. I don't see the problem. Also, I think having a list of our best articles is a nice feature to have. I don't see a problem with either section. Tobyk777 02:21, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Formatting of WP:WPSG
Hi, I just rv an edit you made which accidentaly disrupted the formated of the page. (I assume this was by accident) You reverted me back. In my broswer when that edit is made the whole back goes screwy. Tobyk777 02:37, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- I use internet explorer 7. Are you sure that in your browser the center text does get garbled? 02:46, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- The text all alligns to the right and gets double spaced. And there is a screen wide gap between the infobox and the rest of the page. Tobyk777 02:52, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
ZPM
I reverted the changes you made to the Dagan ZPM section. It violates the wikipedia NPOV (Neutral point of view) thing. Using the term "stolen" is a point of view, because to the brotherhood, it was the Atlantis team that was stealing it, not them. So using the "sought by many, denied to all" is NPOV. It was discussed in the talk page for the article. Please do not revert it again.

Blanking
Please do not remove sections of a template. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 15:07, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- You removed text thus blanking, either way i have removed bgcolour and used the race colour in the top. This is to follow suit with other templates. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 15:10, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- I can read it fine, perhaps your monitor needs tweaking. Or maybe the text colour needs tweaking. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 15:14, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Your rv on SG-1
Hi, you just reverted my edit because you claim that if I think a cite is needed that I need to ad it. First of all, that is common knowlage to almost any Stargate watcher. Secondly, I remeber reading an article about how it's popular for that reason once. I just can't remember where it was. I was hoping someone else could provide the cite. I think that it is ligatamate and acurate info that is important and should be in there. Unless you have another reason besides not being able to give the soruce I will re-add the info. Tobyk777 03:24, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
reversion
I reverted your removal of a paragraph from Stargate under the SG-1 section - it was detailed info, yes, but certainly summary info too - I think it deserves to be on both articles. Also I'm thinking of trying to get Stargate to GA or maybe FA, and that kind of info would probably be wanted in the summary.--Alfakim-- talk 19:06, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
