Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi Flightx52, I´m sorry if it feels intrusive, I just need voluntary users who will participate in this research. I can obviously understand if it feels weird, since you are listed as a retired member. I am however investing time in selecting what kind of users should be interviewed so that we can get the "whole picture" about understanding the roles and behaviors of users in general. I am basically e-mailing those users who left their e-mail option available in their UserPage, hoping that they will share the view and need for this ongoing research, and that they will not feel spammed. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about it, and I am still very new to Wikipedia, so I will appreciate any input as well! Thank you for your understanding!Iasalcan (talk) 09:51, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
