Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:23, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My only intention is to create an article for people to better understand the company in question, as many articles on Wikipedia already exist with the same purpose. This article does not include promotional material, only informational features, such as history, description of the company, and it's current occupation. I will request a username change, as I did not know it wasn't allowed, however I believe a mistake was made in assessing the purpose of my article. Thank you in advance for understanding, and taking the time to respond. FlightFlow (talk) 19:29, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No mistake was made here; Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell the world about themselves and what they do- that's for social media and the company website. Wikipedia is interested in what others wholly unaffiliated with a company choose to say about it. and what makes it notable as Wikipedia defines the term for companies. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company, so we will need to know what you will edit about instead. If you have no other interest here, this is the end of the road. 331dot (talk) 09:06, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your user name chocie is acceptable, but you will not be unblocked to write about Flight Flow due to your WP:conflict of interest and the promotional nature of your edits Please rewrite your unblock request to describe what non promotional, non conflict of interest edits you would make. Thanks. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:41, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will add that Wikipedia articles are not for merely providing information, nor are they for organizations to tell the world about themselves and what they do. That's promotional here, you don't have to be soliciting or selling something. Articles are typically written by independent editors wholly unconnected with the topic. Please see other stuff exists; the existence of other articles that themselves may be problematic has no bearing on your draft. If you want to help us, once unblocked you can identify these other similar articles you have seen for possible action. 331dot (talk) 20:35, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
