Your faith merits you an indulgence.
Thank you for supporting my candidacy to run NPP. I found your support for me against of field of well-qualified Wikipedians meaningful. Although I did not win the consensus of the aggregate I hope you find that your faith in me was not misplaced. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:01, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- Chris troutman, sorry you didn't get up old mate. You always have my support. Flat Out (talk) 01:29, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
Mike Downey's page
Hello,
I would like to discuss the draft for Michael Downey's page that you rejected a few weeks ago, stating that it is "too soon" in his career.
I really don't understand the argument as Mr Downey has credits on over 60+ films which is many more than most producers make in a lifetime - he is closer in age to 60 than to 50 - and he is deputy Chairman of the most important group of European Film professionals there is....EFA...
I would be happy to discuss it with you and hear your advise as to what can be changed to get that page online.
Best regards, F&ME01 (talk) 17:50, 3 March 2017 (UTC)Manon (F&ME)
- (by talk page stalker) @F&ME01: First, you're an obvious CoI editor so you would do well to avoid arguing notability. You can create a draft and submit it but our reviewers decide. Second, there is no
"Mike Downey's page"
; Wikipedia has articles on various subjects. I mention this because your phrasing reifies an ownership concept that's not allowed here. Why would Wikipedia desire to have an article about this subject? Finally, the subject fails WP:FILMMAKER and WP:GNG. If you were to wait 70 or 100 years then maybe there will be enough sources about the subject. Wikipedia isn't on a timeline. I hope that helps. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:02, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- F&ME01 further to the feedback you already received from my learned colleague Chris troutman, I didn't accept this article because it doesn't meet the criteria for notability. Please read WP:FILMMAKER and WP:GNG and let me know which criteria have been met, and I'll have a another look. Flat Out (talk) 01:33, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
Draft:ID Wholesaler Deletion
Hello, Flat Out -
I understand that my article "Draft:ID Wholesaler" has been deleted (from Graeme Bartlett: "You have not made any changes since this last comment. So being promotional it will not be accepted as a page. Also now it is nominated for deletion as you have not put in any effort to write this in an encyclopedic tone.").
My sincere apologies for non-compliance with Wikipedia guidelines and for allowing this to drag on (and on).
If I am able to re-tool the content I originally wrote so that it does not appear as promotional and instead reflects an encyclopedic tone, would it be considered for adding to Wikipedia? Or have I blown my chances altogether?
Thank you, Flat Out.

- MaeDarla you can have another go when you believe notability has been established. Flat Out (talk) 14:27, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

Hi Flat Out
I have updated the content of the draft I sent last January. Can you check it out and let me know if there are changes that I need to make.
Thanks! Imperialsheep (talk) 02:43, 24 March 2017 (UTC) Imperialsheep (talk) 02:43, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Imperialsheep. I have had a look and I still don't think the draft meets WP:CORPDEPTH. I will leave it to another reviewer to make the call. Best wishes Flat Out (talk) 00:59, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
