I noticed your interest in space-related articles. There is a group of editors here at Wikipedia who have come together to form WikiProject Space in order to improve space-related articles. You are invited to check us out and, if interested, join our team. Our project page has a lot of resources as well as article guidelines that you might find helpful.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Also, you can go to your own user page, User:Fitzhugh and edit in a little bit about yourself, if you wish. Colorblindness

[edit]

Thanks for your kind words and helpful criticism on my illustrations. I admit, my use of color is often haphazard, so I appreciate your feedback and ideas on how to improve accessibility. The M-209 pics are somewhat unfinished; I just haven't had the energy to work on them recently. (By the way, the cat's name is Fitzcairn, named after Hugh Fitzcairn from the Highlander TV series--any relation? :-) -- Wapcaplet 07:51, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fitz the cat

[edit]

Ha, pretty cool - same name (sorta) as your cat :) But aren't cats colorblind as well? Maybe you could ask Fitzcairn to vet your images before posting. ...Just checked, and yes, they are. In fact, they see colors much like I do, basically red/green colorblind. Check out http://www.lam.mus.ca.us/cats/color/ - I can only barely see the difference between the two sides of the example image, so Fitzcairn would be a great assistant :) --Fitzhugh 18:14, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Resetting my password

[edit]

To the person who has been requesting the password be reset: Sorry, this is not your account - you must have used a different username. I don't know, maybe usernames are case sensitive? Perhaps you still have the original email verification from creating your account that would include the propper username? Thanks Fitzhugh 16:13, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Amc2010 and AIV

[edit]

I blocked the user. However, when you go to edit the AIV page, the text in the box where you add the report gives you the correct format you use when reporting people. {{Vandal|Amx2010}} is the format that should've been used. We recommend that you use that format because it makes it easier for admins to access contribs, talk page, etc. Also, it makes it easier for the bot to remove the report once it's taken care of. Thanks for the report. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 08:53, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited EHow, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Long tail (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
