User talk:Fitzfulke
Pepso2, I have left a note on your talk page. Thanks. Fitzfulke (talk) 05:29, 30 June 2011 (UTC)FF
- You have added valuable info. Actually, I agree with you about use of comma in compound sentence. I didn't write the sentence in question. Review this: Wikipedia:Picture tutorial. Wikipedia has rules re "non-free images of living people": Wikipedia:Non-free content. To remove the drawing, just delete the entire bracketed material at top. Pepso2 (talk) 08:08, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
Pepso 2, I have left another note on your talk page. Thanks. Fitzfulke(talk) 09:49, 2 July 2011 (UTC)FF
- Looks good, but strip is too large and should be reduced. Pepso2 (talk) 23:34, 3 July 2011 (UTC)
- Perhaps try photo with Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 template. Pepso2 (talk) 21:59, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Replaceable fair use File:Heather McAdams and Nicole Hollander Wikipedia.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Heather McAdams and Nicole Hollander Wikipedia.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 09:17, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sylvia a world without men.tif
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Sylvia a world without men.tif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Sylvia
[edit]Fitz, excellent article on Hollander! Now what about an article on Sylvia? [1] Note that all the major comic strips (and many forgotten vintage strips) have separate pages for both the creator and the strip. Pepso2 (talk) 10:13, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, I will wait. I didn't know you were editing. There is a way to save text during an edit conflict. On edit conflict notice, scroll down and you will see your edited version. In past, I have highlighted and copied that and sometimes saved on MicroSoft. The tricky part: If extensive changes, I have then deleted the entire page and then pasted it back in with my new edits. - Looks good! I made only a few minor changes. Pepso2 (talk) 11:10, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Nicole Hollander Sylvia comics pages pledge.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Nicole Hollander Sylvia comics pages pledge.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:05, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
- I added a fair use rationale. Pepso2 (talk) 14:49, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. You can see on my talk page the Wikipedia cops have been making mass deletions of comic strips, giving me no time to make the changes they request. There is a loss of detail in small resolutions, and the WP rule means some of these strips are now so small that they cannot be read! Pepso2 (talk) 12:50, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
