Request reason:

It seems like a few years back, my account was "confirmed" being a sockpuppet of another account. I have no clue who the other account is or any of the other sockpuppets of the account. If you also look at the way the edit messages were written for my account and the other accounts, the style is fairly different. My account also predates what seems to be the main account's first edit as well as the time period of when the sockpuppets made their edits.

Accept reason:

This seems plausible to me and I doubt that a sockpuppet account would bother to come back after five years to make an unblock request. I'm going to assume good faith and unblock. Spicy (talk) 16:39, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bbb23, thoughts? I realize this is old history. From a behavioural perspective, this account doesn't look similar to other accounts at the SPI, who were focused on topics related to Chinese nationalism. I ran a check and did not see any evidence of recent sockpuppetry, inasmuch as that is meaningful. Spicy (talk) 10:16, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
