Ref name
[edit]Hello, welcome again, and great work so far! Thank you again for your contributions, I see you have expanded several articles now. One little note, instead of repeating the exact same ref over and over again, you should use ref names. It helps save a lot of space in wiki markup and ref sections... :) - Adolphus79 (talk) 18:11, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
Hello again, regarding your edits to Colt Single Action Army, I think you might be missing the point of WP:NOTHOWTO. If you are making a statement about "how users were being instructed as to which position the hammer should be in when you are carrying this specific firearm in a holster", then you do not need to quote the entire manual (90% of the quoted text being common knowledge related to the basic loading and ejection operation of almost any single action revolver), we only need to use the 10% (the last line of one paragraph that is relevant to carrying this model specifically) and (even more specifically) relevant to the point we (you) are trying to make in an encyclopedia article about this specific firearm. I also corrected a number of typos and minor errors, which you reverted with your edit. I hope you understand there was no bad faith on my behalf, and I would be happy to discuss it further if you wish. - Adolphus79 (talk) 17:59, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
