Discussion help
[edit]I came across your username on Commons and thought you should be the right Wikipedian to ask for help here and here. Thanks in advance. --|EPO| 14:14, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Re: Commons help
[edit]You can find Wikimedia Commons here. It's another Wikimedia project. You sign up just the same as you did here at Wikipedia. Once you upload the image to the Commons, any Wikimedia project can use it. Let me know if you have any other question. -- Natalya 01:34, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Wrong category
[edit]What I meant by wrong category was if I assessed the article wrongly, meaning if I put it in a higher class when it should of been In a lower class. And im sure (correct me if im wrong) that the Code 3 Reponse should belong in the law enforcement even though, EMT's and Fire & Rescue services use them aswell, so it should be cross-referenced by those wikiprojects as well.
Kind Regards

Suggestion
[edit]I know that you are a Fire lieutanat and are interested in editing articles of that subject.
And as I browsing wikipedia i found out about the Wikipedia:WikiProject Fire Service which is dedicated to improving and maintaining Fire & Rescue related articles, and because I remembered that you are in this occupation, It reminded me of you, so here I am now telling you about it. Although the project is not big, it needs someone like you, with the expertise and knowledge to get it on its feet.
Here are some other links that may appeal to you:
I hope you have a wonderful christmas, and happy editing

Hello and good afternoon (at least it is afternoon where I am). I was looking at the Wikipedian firefighters category and noticed that you are one of the members of the Wikipedia community that lists yourself as being a firefighter. First and foremost let me say thank you for your service. While I myself am not a firefighter, I do work as a photographer with multiple local fire departments. I am honored to have firefighters as some of my closest friends.
I have been taking an active role in the Fire Service WikiProject and am trying to recruit more members to this cause. If this is something you have any interest in, please let me know? You can leave me a message on my talk page. Obviously there is zero obligation. An interest can be anything from helping out with a couple of pages in your local area to helping to overhaul major templates, and anything in between.
Once again, thank you for your service. Hope to hear from you soon. Stay safe! --Zackmann08 (talk) 17:51, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Municipal Ambulance Services Trust (logo).jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Municipal Ambulance Services Trust (logo).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:46, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File permission problem with File:Ohmsett Aerial Original 2-03.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ohmsett Aerial Original 2-03.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 廣九直通車 (talk) 05:12, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
The article Twenty Mile Bend, Florida has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This landmark does not meet WP:GEOFEAT. The name primarily is used in newspapers as a waypoint (to describe the location of traffic accidents, for instance) and as a landmark in older surveying materials.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 08:07, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
