Edit war warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Manuel Zelaya. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Moogwrench (talk) 05:32, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the notice on Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Edit_warring#User:190.53.244.15_and_User:Finrevs_reported_by_User:Moogwrench_.28Result:_.29. Moogwrench (talk) 07:17, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Aww shucks that ain't nice

[edit]

On my talk page, you said the following: "Nice to refer me to edit warring when you have changed the edits back just as often as I have. Hypocrite. No wonder you support the coup and the golpistas." Look, we all have to learn not to edit war, and the 3RR rule is a bright line rule. Just remember that next time and you'll be fine.

Oh, and it is not nice to personally attack other editors, with phrases such as "hypocrite", "coup supporter", etc. Don't do it. Instead, focus on content and consensus building. Cheers! Moogwrench (talk) 08:12, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
