OkWe will update the stats daily, sorry I couldn't alert all the users because something in real life distracted me. Let's hope I can survive elimination. HelloHello, thank you for welcoming me, but i would like to try some edits out first before i would think of being adopted. Polymers in sports ballsI believe almost all sports balls are made of polymers. The exceptions would be certain kinds of lawn bowling that use metallic balls (bocce and pétanque come to mind), and any game that uses stone balls, though I can't think of one off the top of my head. Take golf balls, for instance: they used to be made of wood, which is a composite of cellulose fibers in a matrix of lignin and hemicellulose. Then, they were made of leather (mostly collagen) stuffed with feathers (mostly keratin). There was then a revolution, in which gutta percha became the fashionable choice. For years, I believe most of the mass of a golf ball was vulcanized polyisoprene, but now I think each high-end company makes its own trade-secret synthetic rubber that's engineered to have a more-rapid viscoelastic response. I'm not sure what the shell is made of. Croquet balls are made of wood. Bowling balls are made of cork (cellulose again), I believe, with a polyurethane skin. Most other balls are made with a bladder of vulcanized polyisoprene, covered in leather if they're nice, or some synthetic imitation of leather such as plasticized polyvinyl chloride, soft polyurethane, or more vulcanized polyisoprene. Baseballs are wound plant cordage (cellulose, yet again) covered in leather. Hope this helps. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Polyparadigm (talk • contribs) Wiki World CupWhen is the Group Stage over and when is the 2008 Wiki World Cup? Ralbot 14:06, 29 October 2007 (UTC) Martin Jol's resignation on Premier League 2007-08The wording seems fine to me. The fact that there are two sentences in there should make it quite plain that Juande Ramos resigned the day previous to the one mentioned in the same sentence (I hope that made as much sense to you as it did to me!). - PeeJay 20:51, 29 October 2007 (UTC) Signpost updated for October 29th, 2007.

First, nice userpage. Second, are you the user formerly known as User:Chaza93? If you are, there are many sub-pages from this old username which redirect to non-existent pages (see Special:BrokenRedirects). What would you like to do with these old pages? We could either delete them or you could create the relevant link to an existent page with your new username. What would you like to do? Thanks. - Mtmelendez (Talk) 13:13, 7 November 2007 (UTC) Signpost updated for November 5th and 12th, 2007.

Fair use rationale for Image:Liverpool v Monaco.jpgThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Liverpool v Monaco.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
