- Hi, thanks. Is this something that you do when someone's done so many edits, or did you just see me somewhere? (P.S. Am I doing this reply correctly?) ;) Finbob83 (talk) 09:46, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm DVdm. Your recent edit to the page Complex number appears to have added incorrect information, so I removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. DVdm (talk) 10:30, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
lead section Vulfpeck
[edit]Hi @Finbob83: about this diff1, edit summary "I agree, but needs a source". Not everything in the lead section must be cited (referenced, sourced) in the lead section itself. Lead material can be based on the body of the article and things can be sourced in the body, WP:LEAD, WP:LEADCITE. What you removed (which you also agree with) is sourced by ref. 2 link and ref. 3 link. It is based on the "background section" first paragraph, and sourced there. It is also based on the "style section" first and last sentence, and sourced there. If you feel like adding a citation to what I had in the lead section, then feel free to add a citation to this link (ref. 2), but there is no need to erase it. Though I personally think there no need to cite it in the lead.
About the second diff2, the Jim Fusilli quote is not for The Beautiful Game album, see the body of the article and the ref itself: link, that quote is for Thrill of the Arts album. So that addition is incorrect (although well intentioned and in good faith). I have reverted your edits to the earlier version which is simple, which we both agree with, and which is sourced in the body of the article. If you disagree please discuss here for consensus, thanks. Bammesk (talk) 04:33, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
- Also added what you had without naming the album. Bammesk (talk) 04:54, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
- Lovely! Sorry about my hasty edit. That's a good solution. Finbob83 (talk) 01:07, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
