{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Toddst1 (talk) 22:23, 18 November 2013 (UTC)FinallyAUsernameICanUse (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I would like to request that my account be unblocked. I did not realize that original research was not allowed to be published on Wikipedia without any references, I thought that the provided proof would be enough.
I also would like to apologize for this infraction and for the petty vandalism that I participated in previously. I have matured greatly since then and hope that I can be given another chance to contribute to Wikipedia.
If unblocked I pledge that I will not participate in any more vandalism and that I will help to clean up Wikipedia articles and contribute new information to Wikipedia.
The disambiguation page I created, Cantor's theorem is no longer needed as there is only 1 article with that name, I would go back and fix this my self, but I am banned.
Thank you
Decline reason:
Nowhere in the guide to appealing blocks does it say to copy and paste an entire article into your talk page. Nowhere. This was explained to you, and you did it again. I don't think you have "matured greatly" in the last five days. Go back and reread the guide to appealing blocks, and think about why you want to edit the encyclopedia. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Inappropriate use of talk page
[edit]Posting articles on your talk page while you are blocked is considered an inappropriate use of your talk page. Jackmcbarn (talk) 00:11, 19 November 2013 (UTC) I was following the guide here, [[1]]; and now I must start that step all over. FinallyAUsernameICanUse (talk) 00:36, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
- No part of that says to post articles to your talk page, and even if it did, you wouldn't have to start over; what you posted is still accessible in the page history. Jackmcbarn (talk) 00:38, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
Then can you please explain to me what Step 2 and the link in it are telling me to do? [[2]] It seems like they are telling me to do exactly what I did; propose an edit to an article by posting the edit in my talk page. FinallyAUsernameICanUse (talk) 00:41, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
- Usually, when people post articles to their talk page, that's not what they were doing, unless someone told them to do it. Since you are doing that on your own, you can restore it. Jackmcbarn (talk) 00:55, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
Thank you, and was I following those directions correctly? FinallyAUsernameICanUse (talk) 00:56, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
