Reverting removal of unsourced material
[edit]Hello. Regarding this edit, please see WP:BURDEN. If material is removed for being unsourced, you should not restore it without providing sources. Doing this repeatedly could result in a block. Cordless Larry (talk) 18:56, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
- Their wikipedia articles clearly state that they are of Indian or Iraqi descent. Therefore they will remain on the list. FinalDestiny1991 (talk) 18:58, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
- The sources should be cited in the list article, but remember that consensus on the talk page and in the deletion discussion was to only include people described as members of ethnic minorities, so please ensure that any sources you do add establish that. Cordless Larry (talk) 19:11, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
- The articles and books all show how they are on Indian or Iraqi descent. Furthermore many of the MPs were from eras when people were not described as 'ethnic minorities' but because of where they and their families are from are very much that.FinalDestiny1991 (talk) 19:14, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
- If you continue to take the approach of making your own decisions about who counts as an ethnic minority, then the problems that resulted in the article being nominated for deletion are going to resurface. Please respect consensus, and if you want to change it, argue for that on the talk page. Cordless Larry (talk) 19:27, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
- I am going off what the UK Government classifies as an ethnic minority. You might not agree with their classification but that is how it is at the moment. I have shown to you, through books and literature, that because of their backgrounds they are classified as ethnic minorities. Some of them are mixed race due to having white and indian parents, whilst others were literally born in Iraq and India. I have added sources showing this, so when you talk about the consensus, I should point out that its your edits against my edits. No other editors seem to have edited this page recently. So you went against the consensus by deleting posts that had been there for months if not years. FinalDestiny1991 (talk) 19:33, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
- Can you please provide me with a link to the definition that you are using? Cordless Larry (talk) 19:43, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
- I shall try to. FinalDestiny1991 (talk) 19:45, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
