Unblock request
FiendYT (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
It has been almost 2 years since I was blocked for undisclosed paid editing and not paying attention to previous warnings about it. I fully understand my mistakes, have since moved on completely from the practice of paid editing, and will never go back to doing it. I would like to simply resume my normal editing of topics I was interested in before such as aviation and military, which I never did for paid editing. I hope being unblocked will allow me to demonstrate that I can be a helpful and beneficial member to the community. If the explanation n this request is not enough, I will gladly do whatever's needed to fulfill your standards. Thank you. FiendYT ★ 01:23, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You must provide a list of every single paid contribution you have made, along with who the employer and affiliation are in each case, for us to even consider an unblock. See WP:PAID. MER-C 13:37, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
I have disclosed all my contracts as asked by the administrator who denied my previous unblock request. My Upwork account (previously at this link) is not currently viewable as it is closed, but it was under the name Edison L. I am willing to give other requested info if needed. Thank you. Decline reason:
Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. signed, Rosguill talk 18:20, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

Are you planning to continue paid editing if unblocked? GeneralNotability (talk) 13:58, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
- @GeneralNotability: No, as I stated in my previous unblock request, I am no longer and will never be again in the practice of paid editing. I wish to only return to editing topics I liked before that I did out of interest. FiendYT ★ 15:22, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. Doc James, any objections to an unblock? GeneralNotability (talk) 15:40, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
FiendYT (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I understand Doc James's concerns, and I agree that I was doing reference spam as part of the undisclosed paid editing. I am fully aware of the mistakes I've made, and I sincerely apologize for doing them. I again reiterate that I will not be returning to any of my former practices of paid editing and other policy violations that came with it. I just want to go back to editing articles as part of my interests to help the encyclopedia grow. If this isn't sufficient, I am willing to wait as long as needed to prove that I am serious in my efforts to turn over a new leaf. Thank you. FiendYT ★ 00:15, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
