Hi Fidel, thanks for you message. As you experiment more around here you'll learn more about templates and transclusions; This is why you probably didn't find the source code for the menu at the top of my user page. I will let you discover how to transclude templates on your own, this how you learn best. As for the menu bars such as this one all you need is building blocks (graphics) and cement (wikimarkup). you can start by imitating codes and experimenting. It takes trial and error to learn these stuff, so take it easy Eli+ 15:20, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

Please don't

I don't appreciate you coming onto my page trying to make out you are better than me and my edits are wrong, when in fact you are changing things into something that is not backed up. What's even more annoying is that you are moaning at me to add a source when the information you are changing in the opening of the "Unapologetic" article does not match the rest of the article.

Also, I see that you are being very unprofessional with other users too:

"Undid revision 524613094 by Cobbie98 (talk) provide a link to support your claim... Vandal !) (undo)"

Don't just label someone a "VANDAL!" it's rude and intimidating. You only had to undo the revision and give a reason, not start name calling. Plus, you can hardly call someone this when, like I said, you are editing information into such that doesn't match a citation. Iluvrihanna24 (talk) 09:44, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Easy there! why so defensive! don't take such think any personal :) . Metacritic is only one criterion for rating Unapologetic its not the only primary source to indicate that it has favorable reception! It has a mixed reception ! Praising the songs production, while criticizing her vocals! Yeah it is a VANDAL considered from the USER Cobbie98 stating that it topped the UK chart without providing any cited link ! Again I Insist, this page should not be written from a "FANS PERSPECTIVE" and I'll publicize this RIGHT NOW!

Fidelove☺</fontwhispers 1:58 AM, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Unapologetic

Hi Fidelove. I removed the banner, here's why. It's not that that the article is written from a fan point, look at the main source for the reception Metacritic says that the album has "generally favorable reviews" based on 16 critic reviews. See, that's not invented. So I suggest you not going in any other fan edit wars. Cheers!— Tomíca(T2ME) 10:28, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Mariah Carey in history

Hi. Could you please explain on the Mariah Carey talk page what "in history" adds to the lead sentence "With the release of "Touch My Body" (2008), Carey gained her eighteenth number one single in the United States, more than any other solo artist.", before re-adding it a third time? Do you think there is any confusion about the timeframe that this statement covers? Otherwise it reads very like at needless POV emphasis on a plain statement of fact that speaks for itself. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 13:23, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

What's this?....

... Can you explain this?. Vandalism?. Please, Assume good faith. I thought that this the certified millions in USA are albums, not records. And remember to write in UPPERCASE It's rude. Regards, Chrishonduras (talk) 23:55, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

... Hi, adding an undocumented phrase stating that Madonna (entertainer) is the biggest selling female artist in the history of the United States without siting a reliable resource is considered a vandalism since RIAA cited that she's 2nd to Barbara Steirsand. Using the UPPERCASE means you should'v understood from the very first time! if not! YOUR PROBLEM! Cheers. Fidel 02:30, 15 March 2013 (UTC)

Okay, the version in the article, said that were [more] 80 million "records", not albums. And the other thing: You fixed it, but you placed that it was 64.5 million "records", when are only albums. It is totally ironic. Do not you think?. In RIAA.com the central main title says "TOP SELLING ARTISTS" and in the left says "TOP ARTISTS (ALBUMS)". Therefore, it is only certified sales of albums (Madonna = 64.5), not of "records" (when you put are "records" = 64.5). I do not mean for me, but I'll give you some advice: do you must be able to identify vandalism (The real vandalism, not a erratum.), and, above all, stop writing in UPPERCASE, which is always a lack of respect..... Please, I remember you read, Wikipedia:Assume good faith and WP:COMMONSENSE. Regards, Chrishonduras (talk) 23:48, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

This is improper....

This is so difficult. Maybe it's because my English is not advanced enough. You have misunderstood me completely, and you keep presuming bad faith on your part and you are not recognizing what is vandalism.

I am not trying to say that we should put that Madonna has sold more than 80 million records in the United States. I only emphasized it once again because it was the version of the article from before you and I contributed. What I wanted to make clear was your error of writing that Madonna had sold 64.5 millon "records" (with this edition= Madonna sold 64.5 million RECORDS. (overall ALBUMS + SINGLES), when it was only about albums. But anyway, I already fixed it (you check in RIAA.com that the central main title says "TOP SELLING ARTISTS" and in the left says "TOP ARTISTS (ALBUMS)" ). Now, Did you clear the reason for my message?.

Finally, if you continue to talk inappropriately and in all capitals, I will have to write up a complaint. It is worrying, because maybe you have already behaved this way towards newcomers, assuming bad intent of edits that were simply typos (or erratums), not vandalism. Please be civil. Regards, Chrishonduras (talk) 01:10, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

... I need a proof otherwise I have to move Madonna's article to COMPLETE protection. Fidel 01:13, 22 March 2013 (UTC) The RIAA does not deal in sales of albums, only certifications of shipped units. Therefore this best-selling list is based on total accumulated certifications given per artist and may not reflect the true physical sales obtained by these artists. The RIAA began its certifications in 1958. This list; therefore, excludes artists like Bing Crosby whose sales in the 1930s-1950s were not certified. The list also excludes certifications of albums recorded by artists in collaboration with others as part of a singular artist or group's total.

So Madonna's claimed 80+ certified records ARE PLATINUM and GOLD certifications which I'm sure you got it from best-selling music artists article ... Mariah Carey got 90+ MILLION CERTIFICATION more than any other female artist that doesn't mean she has sold 90+ million record. regards. Fidel 01:30, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

This is a waste of time for me............................ I never wrote that Madonna had sold 80 million records (you say this: you got it from best-selling music artists article). I already explained to you that I agree with using the RIAA as reference and The official RIAA website clearly says 64.5 million ALBUMS sold, not records (TOP SELLING ARTISTS in center and in left say TOP ARTISTS (ALBUMS)). Furthermore, there are no edit wars, and protection is really not necessary, especially since it is set only by administrators (which we are not). What is the misunderstanding here?". Regards, Chrishonduras (talk) 01:50, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

Feud is over. :) If you believe Madonna outsold Barbra Stiersand go to the talk page of Madonna and follow the steps of the administrator :) ^_^ Fidel 01:53, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

Lol, of course, Madonna has not sold more that Barbra Streisand. All this time I commented on this your edition that Madonna have 64,5 million albums (not 64,5 million records) with as Mariah Carey: with 63.5 million certified albums or Barbra 71.5 million albums sold. Regards, Chrishonduras (talk) 02:08, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

RE:

What editing war?. I have not been doing any editing war. Please, save this kind of comments in bad faith. First of all, what you did above at Chrisonduras' talk page was an extreme bad faith message, second of all you did not wait till consensus appeared on this matter in the talk page. Thirdly, you added a bunch of certifications from IRMA, ABPD, IFPI HK etc, which are of no concern to the discography article making the FL a fancruft. And lastly, you again inserted a bunch of dead links from NVPI which were removed lest the article gets drawn into FLR. Please stop making these unnecessary edits and wait for reason to appear. I have reverted all of your edits. Next time please ask me on my talk page or the article talk page. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 10:35, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

Live It Up (Jennifer Lopez song)

Hi there. Just to clarify, the summer hit reference has nothing do to with how critics receive the song. Please refrain from edit warring in the future (without addressing issue first), I see you have made disruptive edits on another article, so serving out unjustified "warnings" in edit summaries to others is simply not right. Also, this may be crossing the line but I find it funny how you say that that wide prediction is from a fan point of view (even when sources like The New York Times report it!) considering your edit contributions (Mariah, Mariah..). Regards, Arre 08:11, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

I'm criticizing the term HAILED and you cannot just make a statement made up on ESTIMATIONS ..... and concerning my contributions ARE from a VERY NEUTRAL POINT OF VIEW never exaggerate. regards. Fidel 08:29, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

Please be sure to sign your posts properly with four tildes (~). I've tweaked the term "hailed", so calm down no need to type in caps. But it has been widely predicted by various sources. Neutral? Then why have they been looked upon as vandalism? Anyway, have a nice day. And please think twice before "warning". Regards, Arre 11:48, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

R&B Charts

I am afraid you're revision at #Beautiful was incorrect. Per this article at Billboard (during the chart changes), the R&B songs chart ranks the top-25 purely R&B songs based on sales, airplay and streaming. I quote, "R&B Songs and Rap Songs will serve as 25-position distillations of the overall Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, highlighting the differences between pure R&B and rap titles in the overall, wide-ranging R&B/hip-hop field." Distillation being the key word here as it means separation. As the R&B songs chart uses the exact same methodology as the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, the R&B Chart is thus a component of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, as the Rap Songs chart is identical as the R&B Songs Chart, just for hip-hop/rap music. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 13:11, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

The question of whether the R&B Chart is official or not (or whether it is produced by Billboard) is irrelevant. Please read the comment above and logically follow through the points made. It is a clear explanation from Billboard itself as to the fact that the R&B Chart is a distillation (subset/separation) of the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Component charts per WP:USCHARTS are not illegal or disallowed, they just don't get used if a parent chart with a wider methodology is used instead. Please do not revert, consider discussing at Talk:Beautiful (Mariah Carey song) or WP:USCHARTS if you're still not satisfied but please do not add the chart again. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 22:51, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

#Beautiful

Hi, component charts are not allowed in the table due to Wiki rules. They're allowed in the prose, though.

Digital songs, radio songs all make the Hot 100, so they're not allowed.

Anything that goes into making a chart.

Okay thanks for clearing it ! I' totally understand it now! thanks but what about the Adult Pop Songs ?Fidel 12:11, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

In my opinion it was a component chart, as it makes the overall Pop Songs? But I'm not sure on it entirely. I'll bring it up for discussion on that Beautiful talk page and get somebody else's opinion as I haven't edited in a while. Jayy008 (talk) 12:13, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi, please do not remove "international" from the Korean chart as they are different charts. The song charted at #3 on International and #151 on the main chart. Jayy008 (talk) 22:04, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

  • It is what? That's no more valid than the Billboard source. Where does it confirm #23 on Adult Contemporary, #35 on Adult Pop Songs, and #22 on Pop Songs? --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 08:17, 17 May 2013 (UTC)

European Hot 100 Singles

The European Hot 100 Singles or European Hot 100 (as it was known), was a pan-European chart composed by ranking the tallies from 16 national charts within Europe. It was published by Billboard who officially discontinued the chart in December 2010, as per here. Please do not re-add the chart from any other source because Billboard was the primary reliable source for that chart and now that it has been discontinued we cannot guarantee the other websites have published the chart using the same methodology. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 10:54, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
