Maybe re-read the passage PROPERLY. And you'll find that it's not vandalism. It was suggested that maybe it was INSPIRED by an older song, no one was suggesting that she COPIED Bowie. Drawing influence from other artists doesn't mean you don't have talent, actually it means quite the opposite. Nowhere in the passage did it say she didn't WRITE the song.
