Tariq Abo Gamra

[edit]

I don't see multiple independent sources writing about Tariq Abo Gamra. There's some journalism about the Stolperstein debate, but the notability there is not this person's opinion, and the fact that he has an opinion and wrote a letter doesn't seem notable. The cited source for his book is a literary agency (not independent of him!) and it's published on Amazon: is this vanity press? Finally, it's great that Merkel wrote a congratulatory letter, but that only means the monument is notable, not the individual students. Can you provide better sources to establish notability? See WP:BIO for more information. Runner1928 (talk) 14:11, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article is about an interview of Tariq Abo Gamra about the Stolperstein debate, which he gave on the 5th of Febuary 2015 on Deutschlandradio(German Radio, which is the national German public broadcasting radio broadcaster.) You see, what I meant when writing about the letter, is that according to the article he is a representative for all of the students in munich and is demanding in their name, that the Stolperstein-ban be lifted. --Federstift (talk) 14:19, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Adding to that the newspaper tz.de reported on the 28th of October about the project and about the young man being an author.

On the 10th of November Tariq Abo Gamra gave an Interview on Bavarian Broadcasting about the project, his experience and about him being an author.

In the 23th of November the same newspaper reported about Tariq Abo Gamra speaking on a Demonstration against Pegida.

In addition to that Munich TV reported about Tariq Abo Gamra and his schoollife.--Federstift (talk) 14:42, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you could help me with correcting the article?Federstift (talk) 14:43, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please site your arguments against the article? You haven´t yet answered my last messages. --Federstift (talk) 13:01, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. See Talk:Tariq_Abo_Gamra. Runner1928 (talk) 20:56, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tariq´s book is supposed to come out sometime in May. I am sure, that until then more independent sources and interviews will turn up. Do you think it would be a good idea to take the article until then out of Wikipedia? Is there someway of putting it offline and preserving it? Or would you agree to wait a bit?--Federstift (talk) 04:32, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
