Thanks for your edits. It needs a good run-through, and I haven't had a chance. Are you going to post something on your user page—even a single sentence—so the links to it don't show up red everywhere? Tony (talk) 04:52, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Formula Calculators.JPG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Formula Calculators.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:32, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:FC Scientific.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 03:07, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:FC Scientific.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:FC Scientific.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:51, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Introduction to Cloud computing, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Computer room and Virtual server (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:29, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The consensus at Talk:Cloud_computing#Introduction_to_Cloud_computing is to have one article on cloud computing. Cloud computing has been improved significantly over the past couple months such that to my eye, it is now a better introduction to the topic. I am looking for suggestions at to how to incorporate content from Introduction to cloud computing into Cloud computing. --Kvng (talk) 22:28, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what user:junkcops was trying to do but you have reverted it. The article will still be deleted in a few days unless you or someone else takes further action. Let me know if you have any questions. --Kvng (talk) 13:18, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies for not responding to your message earlier. This is a part-time activity for me, and I hadn’t logged in for a while.
I reverted the edits because they seemed to be too early – the Banner says that the article may be deleted after 7 days, unless anyone objects. I was preparing a considered response to be made before the 7 days was up, but my hand has been forced and I have objected to the deletion by removing the Banner. I see from the instructions that removal is the minimum response required, and that I am not obliged to do anything else. However, I intend to respond as I said in the revert-edit comment by adding to the Talk pages, but I hope I can take a bit of time now to do this properly.
The Deletion Banner said that the article contained material of dubious quality/reliability. This isn’t consistent with the ratings at the foot of the article - 4.3 for Trustworthiness and 4s for everything else.
Can you please make comments on the Introduction Talk page concerning any specific concerns you have with the article? Fcalculators (talk) 06:07, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The discussion has thus far occurred at Talk:Cloud_computing#Introduction_to_Cloud_computing. I have added a summary with links to Talk:Introduction_to_cloud_computing#Merge.2Fdelete_proposal. --Kvng (talk) 14:24, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm waiting for your promised justification for keeping this article. Have I missed it? --Kvng (talk) 04:09, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
