Image tagging for Image:Trijazicnik.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Trijazicnik.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Dzole-i-tane-lerinsko.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:38, 28 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
- Can you be more specific as to which publication is this image from? ForeignerFromTheEast 23:46, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- Can you specify the original title of the picture? The one you have given could be from a partisan source interested in mentioning Lerin instead of Florina. Also, the men could be Vlach. The source of the description must be scrutinised. Otherwise the image must be removed. Politis 16:25, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Please stop threading site with www.promacedonia.org 'statistics'; it is arguably an irredentist site with irridentist maps. Thanks. Politis 16:38, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Arbcom case
[edit]I've taken the whole set of Macedonia-related edit warring to the Arbitration committee. You are named as a party to the case. Please see WP:RFAR#Macedonia. Thank you, Fut.Perf. ☼ 09:59, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
An Arbitration case involving you has been opened, and is located here. Please add any evidence you may wish the Arbitrators to consider to the evidence sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Macedonia/Evidence. You may also contribute to the case on the workshop sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Macedonia/Workshop.

Heh!
[edit]Too little, too late (and too familiar). But it's a start. :-) Pardon my earlier un-coolness, and let's discuss peace. (Not reinstating your comment in my talk just because I replied in Alexander's page, but feel free to do it yourself if I omitted anything). NikoSilver 22:13, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Macedonia (Greece)
[edit]Hi Fatmanonthehorse, you appear to be involved in an edit war on Macedonia (Greece). I have protected the page from editing for a day. Please discuss your edits on the talk page. If you continue to edit war after the protection expires, you may be blocked. --Akhilleus (talk) 17:21, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
New image uploads
[edit]Hello, can you please clarify what the source is of those images you tagged with "Macedonia Archive", and what evidence you have of their being released under a free license? Thanks, Fut.Perf. ☼ 19:48, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- As you don't seem inclined to respond to my request, I'll assume the images are copyvios and delete them shortly. Fut.Perf. ☼ 09:53, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Macedon-map.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Macedon-map.JPG. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We requires this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

About Britanica
[edit]I could read nothing about your statements in Britanica exept this:
..The land of the Paeonians, originally including the whole Axius (Vardar) River valley and the surrounding areas, in what is now northern Greece, Macedonia, and western Bulgaria. The Paeonians, who were probably of mixed Thraco-Illyrian origin, were weakened by the Persian invasion (490 BC), and those tribes living along the Strymon River (in western Bulgaria) fell under Thracian control. The growth of Macedonia forced the remaining Paeonians northward, and in 358 BC they were defeated by Philip II of Macedonia. The native dynasty, however, continued to be highly respected: about 289 BC, King Audoleon received Athenian citizenship, and his daughter married Pyrrhus, king of Epirus. Under the Romans, Paeonia was included in the second and third districts of the province of Macedonia. By AD 400, however, the Paeonians had lost their identity, and Paeonia was merely a geographic term...[1] Jingby 17:36, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
The above arbitration case has closed, and the final decision may be found here. Any uninvolved administrator may, on their own discretion, impose sanctions on any editor working on Balkans-related articles if that editor fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, the expected standards of behavior, or the normal editorial process. Discretionary sanctions imposed under the provisions of this decision may be appealed to the imposing administrator, the administrators' noticeboard, or the Committee. Fraudulent image uploads
[edit]After your spotty history of poorly sourced and copyvio image uploads, I've long had my suspicions about your recent bunch of allegedly "self-made" uploads. Now, for Image:Vinica2.jpg, there's proof of copyvio here. I'm hereby informing you that you are from now on banned, indefinitely, from making any image uploads whatsoever. (Alternative would have been to completely block your account, which I'll refrain from doing.) Fut.Perf. ☼ 10:41, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
