User talk:Farsheed96
Hi Farsheed, this in reference to your edits for the article Andheri. Please do not add unreferenced content or original research as this is against Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia articles should reflect an unbiased view of the subject matter.
Your edit "This is the best explanation for any migrant reading about Andheri. The article should not be Indian Oriented , it should suit the standards when the world reads it." clearly violates these princliples.
For example you claim that the population of Andheri is 1 million+, without entering credible references as to where you got this number. Please do not pass personal estimates as accurate data.
Similarly, there is a marked use of vague/weasel words and exaggerated content in your edits that should be avoided. ("Well versed county", "prime area", "True Indian Modern Poppulation" to name a few instances").
Lastly please do not remove issue templates from the page without discussion in the Talk page of the article.
In case of an argument, please discuss this on the Talk page of the article first.
Expecting your cooperation for the good of the Wikipedia community and the users of Wikipedia.
Thanks 115.248.130.148 (talk) 21:08, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit(s) because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Technopat (talk) 09:27, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your note. There were basically two problems with your edit: first, you removed a tag requesting references ({{Citation needed|date=September 2011}}) without having provided any reference. Secondly, the information you added was not encyclopedic. Please take a look at the links provided in the welcome template above. Regards, --Technopat (talk) 12:26, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
Recent Edits
[edit]First, welcome to wikipedia. I came across your edits on Mumbai Central railway station, Grant Road railway station & Charni Road railway station. One of the most important things you have to remember is what what the article presently shows & what changes do you want to do in order to make it better.
1. Mumbai Central railway station - You have absolutely changed the article leading to a downgrade in the information that the article had. If you take a look at various articles regarding the railway stations in India, you will find that they have been all formatted in similar ways.
2. Grant Road railway station - If you cannot find a suitable article for information you wish to share, you are at full liberty to create a new article. General information about the area is not for use in railway station article although you can always add a link to the railway station when you create the area article. Take a look at Dadar, the area & railway station have separate pages.
3. Charni Road railway station - Pls be cautious when you decide to tick the minor edit button. What you did there was NOT a minor edit. You need to be well versed with what constitutes a minor edit or as a general thumb rule when in doubt, don't mark it as minor.
On another note, on your Andheri edit, a remark like this is what a migrant would want to see makes no sense at all & is a very poor example of what you should be writing. It will take time for a newcomer to get upto speed so take it easy & take care. Superfast1111 (talk) 09:33, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
You may visit Grant Road to add all the information you want to on the area. Take care. Superfast1111 (talk) 10:14, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
Farsheed, I don't care where you were born or where you live now nor where your ancestral links are. I wanted to inform you that since you had mentioned that there is no article on Grant Road, i created it for you & you can post what you want suitably backed up with references. So visit that page & write what you need to write there.
If you need to communicate with me, pls create a new section when you choose to do so. It was difficult to find your comments on my page.

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Farsheed Cooper may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

The article Farsheed Cooper has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Edit warring
[edit]Your recent editing history at Andheri shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Bbb23 (talk) 19:17, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Bbb23 (talk) 14:26, 22 September 2013 (UTC)- Returning from a block for POV pushing to immediately resume insertion of unsourced promotional content is likely to lead very quickly to another, even longer block.
- Please provide citations to reliably published sources such as newspapers or books to all content you wish to add or restore to an article-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:04, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

- And please note what types of sources are acceptable the ones that you have added are not. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 05:39, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- No, the tourism sites are NOT reliable sources for neutral information, they are designated to promote the city and not present content in a neutral manner. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 05:49, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
So what do you expect...? a research study statistic from the entire suburb?
- We expect and demand reliable third party sources to support information presented in a non promotional manner. You have been blocked twice for failing to follow these basic rules. Revert yourself now or you WILL BE BLOCKED AGAIN for repeatedly inserting inappropriate promotional claims.
- This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 06:00, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
economy of andheri
[edit]why the economy section of andheri was deleted. It is a financial hub in the city and is designated to have a full versed economy column and however it was present earlier .
- because it was overtly promotional and unsourced. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 06:10, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
so? this is autocratic decession . All other places or even suburbs of Mumbai have a economy column and Andheri being second on the list of commercial hubs in Mumbai has no allowance to be written. What nonsense. It's the reality . The World Bank has so many plans and if the world bank is in the content then obviously economy has its roots. Anyways why are you so rigid about the written matter , meaning you are not the only one who is editing , other people may also know better than you and giving references also dosnt please you.
And secondly no one is promoting anything. If this would be a discussion about New York then the sites would be automatically added. It's the reality of the city , of the place which i Guess it is not understandable by you
