Hi, regarding your post at WT:MILHIST; (Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history#William Chapman Foster), there is no reason why you can't write out some pieces for the expansion you're suggesting and then post them to the article talk page (Talk:William Chapman Foster) with an edit request. Just declare you have a conflict of interest (COI) and use the {{request edit}} template. Also, if you need assistance, there is always the Help Desk, Village Pump or the Tea House.
