Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Farahmberg! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 243 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Franz A. Rahmberg - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 00:36, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
The article Hayden Griffin has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. WWGB (talk) 10:18, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
re Barry Salt
[edit]OK, I was able to find one reference for Dr Salt, his London Film School bio. But it's very short and rather a slim thread for referencing an entire article.
Do you have any more material on him? You clearly know something about him, such as the various ballet companies he danced it, that I can't find. Where did you get this info, is it written down anywhere (doesn't have to be on the web)? Herostratus (talk) 01:14, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
Oh, sorry: thank you for contributing this article! I didn't mean to not thank you... we just get busy, and are concerned with referencing articles of living persons (in case they contain libel etc., although of course this doesn't apply to most articles including yours). Let me know if you have any refs for the info in the article (or have any questions about Wikipedia), welcome, cheers, and happy Wiki'ing! Herostratus (talk) 01:17, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
The article Auguste Rahmberg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- After 5 years, notability still not demonstrated. Self-promotion.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Boleyn (talk) 07:05, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
