Budd Albright

[edit]

There are actually quite a few articles about your friend. I think we can do this. I will send a few links your way over the next few days and help you add some content and citations to your article. He is a notable actor/stuntman based on what I have reviewed; we just need to beef up the article a bit. I have a day job, so be patient and I will send them to you as I find them. I may also edit your article directly but if I add anything you don't like or think can be improved upon, feel free... Best Regards, Snowysusan (talk) 01:23, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Need your input

[edit]

Good morning. All information in a biographical article must be supported by independent, reliable sources so we can not rely on Albright's own website or IMDB for instance. I began by trying to find sources for Mr. Albright's background but ran into a stumbling block right away. I tried to research his father but couldn't find him where I expected to be able to, so I have to assume his last name was not Albright. Could you provide me with his father and mother's last names so I can add independent sources regarding their backgrounds. For instance, the Baseball Hall of fame sites referred to have lists of members so once I have the name that fact should be easy to support with a source. Thanks! Update

[edit]

It's slow going, but I'm working on it. I will keep you posted. Snowysusan (talk) 01:46, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

More info please

[edit]

Hi there. I am steadily working on the article and hope to have it ready for the main space this weekend. However, I would like to know Grandma Viola's last name if possible and it would be helpful if you could point me to some of the magazine articles he has written.

If he has a picture or two that he wants included they can be uploaded at the Wikimedia Commons site (fairly easy to do) and I will include them in the article. I can't just grab a picture from the internet because Wikipedia is very concerned about licences and copyright, etc. So when he uploads them, he should indicate that they are his own photos so there will be no dispute over licencing. Thanks. --Snowysusan (talk) 08:59, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE: I have gone ahead and created the article which should be viewable in an hour or so, but I would still like to add a few photos and a bit more info so let me know about the above when you have a chance. Cheers --Snowysusan (talk) 14:34, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

PHOTO of BUDD

[edit]

The photo is up on the page now and I think it looks good. Please tell Budd it was a pleasure to be able to help out with the article. I wish I had been there for some of those backyard parties with that group of cowboys!! I'm a Canadian Sr. Criminal lawyer who now lives and works in Bermuda, so if either of you are ever here make sure you drop me a line and you can buy me a beer. Photo of Budd Deletion

[edit]

Good evening. It was deleted because they thought it had been copied from his website which would be a copyright violation. You can request that it be undeleted and make your case or simply upload a photo that he has full rights to and indicate that it is your own photo/work so there are no copyright/permission concerns. Let me know how you would like to handle it and I will help. Best Regards, Snowysusan (talk) 22:49, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have requested it be undeleted on your behalf and asked what evidence the administrators might want of your right to use the photo. I will let you know when I get a reply. Best Regards, Snowysusan (talk) 09:09, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. This is the response received: "We will require formal permission, not from Mr. Albright, but from the copyright owner, which is almost always the photographer. Please have him or her use the procedure at Commons:OTRS. Note that the required permission is much broader than just for an article at WP:EN -- it must include commercial use and derivative works."
