The article Searching... has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreferenced, no mention of it online.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Top Jim (talk) 03:45, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Party Club
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Party Club, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Films
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to creating articles for new films! I noticed a few of them had some incorrect information that causes new page patrollers to think they're vandalism or not notable - please feel free to contact me at my talk page if you'd like help creating or fixing these articles to make sure they don't accidentally get tagged for speedy deletion. [edit] Your addition to Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
• You may want to check your other edits on the same day, I think you will find other editors have reverted them too.
• You need to have a reliable source to add to, or change a Wikpedia article. See also wp:references, and References for beginners. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 13:52, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

DYK for Gravity (film)
[edit]On 11 December 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Gravity (film), which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the 2013 film Gravity won seven Oscars, more than any other film at the 86th Academy Awards ceremony? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Gravity (film). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
