Club logos deletion

[edit]

Why are you doing this? Isn't it fair use? (Template:logo) FTota 13:10, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:FUC. It's not allowed when used as decoration. They should only be used to illustrate the club article. ed g2stalk 15:01, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Project

[edit]

Hi FTota. I'm considering a project related to the upcoming 2006 FIFA World Cup. In a system similar to the country-specific articles created for the Olympics, I'm considering the creation of an article titled Brazil at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Even though the competition has not yet started, I was thinking that work could already start: we can list the results for the South American Qualifying stage, as well as any matches played in preparation specifically for the World Cup, Tivia facts, etc. Once Parreira drafts the team, we can list it there, plus all the detailed work to be done as the competition progresses. I'll be contacting other Brazilian users who might be interested in joining this effort as well. Maybe this will even encourage others to do a similar job for other countries (I'm not aware that any such project is underway currently). Redux 19:46, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for Image:Juventus sp.gif

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Juventus sp.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:58, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sao_Paulo_(Soccer)_Shield.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BigrTex 17:11, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hi

[edit]

Hi. I found you in categories of users who can contribute in English and Portuguese. I myself am a native speaker of English, but I'm well on my way to learning Portuguese. Just check out my user page and talk page, and join in any of the discussions. To keep updated, you can even put a watch on my user page, which will automatically watch my talk page. :-) learnportuguese (talk) 17:30, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Caro Tota, quero que você registre uma "gif" dos escudos dos clubes em inglês para o São Carlos Futebol Clube e do São Carlos Clube. Te peço porque não sei e nem imagino como fazer isso.

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello FTota! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 12 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Guido Mantega - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Paulo Autuori - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
