Welcome!
[edit]Hello, FGusa, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

. Nthep (talk) 15:04, 19 January 2024 (UTC)You are not acknowledging your conflict of interest and insisting on repeating and edit, that two of us have already told you is unacceptable. Ok, the article may need updating but you are introducing numerous, frankly spam, links. Wikipedia is not an advertising medium for the university, a link to each course is not needed nor is it acceptable behaviour. Nthep (talk) 15:08, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- Dear wiki Administrator, I only did that becuase the the article was on "warning" for lack of links and references. It may so that I understood it wrong, pardon my English understanding, I apologise for repeating edits. Could we agree then that the article for IUS is updated with my kind of edit but without any links for courses or only the short names for courses. And to delete the information about staff and students under info template. FGusa (talk) 15:14, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- Ideally, what is needed are more reliable sources that are about the university but nor from the university, i.e. what have others written about it, not what it has to say about itself.
- That said, an updated list of faculties and courses without the links will be ok as they can be found from the university website. Removing the staff and student numbers, if they're out of date, again ok.
- I will lift the block, if
- you accept the above, and
- you follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#Paid editors about disclosing your relationship with the university (I need to see the necessary edit at your user page).
- You don't need to keep sending me emails. I will always respond here. Nthep (talk) 15:32, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- Responding here as FGusa's assigned mentor. FGusa, it is critical that you read and understand the COI policy. After you read it, please let me know if you have any clarifying questions. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 16:11, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- You don't need to keep emailing me. Leave comments here. I will unblock you but I would add, it's not references from marketing companies that are needed but independent sources. If you start adding unsuitable references to the article, you risk being re-blocked. Nthep (talk) 16:19, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
