- Your talk page seems a better place to have this discussion, so I'll put my rely here. The notability of Peter Smith seems to rest on these claims about multiple awards and presentations to the Prime Minister. If they cannot be verified, using reliable publicly accessible published sources, then the article won't get very far. Sources do not need to be online, but they do need to be published and accessible somewhere. See WP:CITEHOW for what you'd need to include in the description. A privately held letter doesn't count, I'm afraid. Sionk (talk) 10:20, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Peter Smith photographer biography.pdf
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Peter Smith photographer biography.pdf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. – Train2104 (t • c) 19:35, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
The file File:Peter Leslie Thomas Smith.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Uploaded for Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Peter Smith (photographer). No other use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:07, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
