Hi Elizabeth ! We're so happy you wanted to play to learn, as a friendly and fun way to get into our community and mission. I think these links might be helpful to you as you get started.

Your identity

[edit]

Hi, Eyhammer. I saw you here. I just wanted to know if you've confirmed your identity with anyone tied to Wikipedia, like Ian (Wiki Ed). I ask because we've had people impersonate scholars on this site before. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 14:24, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Flyer22 Reborn: Eyhammer is an instructor at Xavier University of Louisiana, where I hosted a workshop earlier this week. She will be teaching students how to contribute to Wikipedia. I've confirmed her identity; thanks for checking. Jami (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:36, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Flyer22 Reborn: I appreciate your close attention to the page. I am a co-author of the text that was cited as pertains to the portion that was removed because the content is not actually found in the citation provided. --Eyhammer (talk) 20:06, 18 May 2017 (UTC)Eyhammer[reply]
Jami (Wiki Ed), thanks for letting me know.
Eyhammer, I was not questioning the edit. The text was supported by that particular version of the source. But, like you stated, it was removed from the updated version of the source. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 20:08, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
