Articles for journal

[edit]

Hi Eyedoc, I would like to ask you if you would like to write for an Ophthalmology journal published from New Delhi, India. The upcoming issue is on early diagnosis of glaucoma and focuses on the use of imaging. Of particular interest is OCT, HRT, GDx and UBM. Please revert back to me at your earliest convenience. The articles are required pretty soon, and GDx is one of the topics for which we would like a nice article. (Am sending email to you too, in case you are offline). Thanks, EyeMD T|C 16:42, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty busy right now. I have to study for my board exam, and I have an outstanding article to finish writing. GDx is not a topic I'm familiar enough to write about right now either. Eyedoc 22:37, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone altered the corneal ulcer entry. As you know, Corneal ulcer is a very debilitating pathologic condition in humans, leading to tremendous human suffering as well as economic loss. Its impact is felt all around the world, especially in agrarian societies. Children become bilaterally blind with this condition and suffer for life. I need someone to work for corneal ulcer article! Am still quite busy in real life to devote much time to this article. Can you please help!! EyeMD T|C 13:27, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia Library now offering accounts from Cochrane Collaboration (sign up!)

[edit]

The Wikipedia Library gets Wikipedia editors free access to reliable sources that are behind paywalls. Because you are signed on as a medical editor, I thought you'd want to know about our most recent donation from Cochrane Collaboration.

  • Cochrane Collaboration is an independent medical nonprofit organization that conducts systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of health-care interventions, which it then publishes in the Cochrane Library.
  • Cochrane has generously agreed to give free, full-access accounts to 100 medical editors. Individual access would otherwise cost between $300 and $800 per account.
  • If you are still active as a medical editor, come and sign up :)
