Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. MER-C 10:48, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. [edit]

Hi. I've blocked your account because you are repeatedly inserting inappropriate links to various articles and ignoring requests from other editors to stop.

As a general rule Wikipedia does not use copyrighted images where a free image is obtainable instead, and even then only where the copyright image has a particular significance the contents of which are discussed in the article itself. Copyright images of people just to show what they look like, are never acceptable. See WP:NONFREE for more information.

Second, you were adding the images to end of subheaders, rather than using the correct formatting. Images are rarely inserted as external links, and are never just tagged on to headings.

Third, as mentioned above you were apparently ignoring other editor's requests for you to stop adding the images. When a request is received like this the usual process is to stop what you're doing and discuss the issue.

This is a new account, so no problems if you simply weren't aware of the "rules". I'll happily unblock you if you have a read of the links I've posted above and let me know by posting on this page that you've done so. If I'm not online, you can use the {{unblock}} template instead - there's instructions how to do this at WP:UNBLOCK.

Sorry to refer you to so many policy pages, and let me know if what I've tried to expalin is unclear. Euryalus (talk) 13:05, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
