Hi Expatstef. First welcome to Wikipedia. Second, there are several reasons why I deleted your link. Take a look at Wikipedia:External links. But to highlight the main reasons as to why this page is inappropriate:

Bullet 1: A page which only provides information already in the article, or which does not provide a unique resource beyond what the article here would have once it becomes a Wikipedia:Featured article.

Bullet 2: A page that contains factually inaccurate material or unverified original research, as detailed in Wikipedia:Reliable sources.

Bullet 3: A page that you own or maintain, even if the guidelines above imply that it should be linked. This is because of neutrality and point-of-view concerns; neutrality is an important and difficult objective at Wikipedia. If your page is relevant and informative, mention it on the talk page and let unbiased Wikipedia editors decide whether to add the link.

Plus when looking at the cite, I noticed that the forum has only 6 members, 5 posts, and 3 threads. You may have aspirations of this becoming something like MilitaryBrat.com or Overseas Brats or Third Culture Kids, but right now it is not there. It is still at the level of a personal website.Balloonman 18:14, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One additional thought. You do have the option of placing the link on the talk page and asking for others to review it and see if they thought it deserved to be on the page. I don't think it would fly as Wikipedia isn't a link bank, but it would let others see it an appraise it themselves. Who knows, the consensus may differ from mine.Balloonman 16:50, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
