[edit]Hello, I'm HughD. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Dorothy A. Brown without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Dorothy A. Brown, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Hugh (talk) 00:54, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for supplying an edit summary of "Deleted this information to remove potentially libelous reporting", with the most recent of your recent three deletions of multiple paragraphs and references from Dorothy A. Brown. May I please refer you to a recent discussion of a similar deletion of content from the same article with a similar edit summary "Attempting to remove libellous information from page" by a different editor? Please see User_talk:Jstrongshaw. There it was explained to that editor that "...the well-sourced material you removed was in no way libelous...". May I suggest we read together and discuss Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle? Once an edit is reverted, we try to avoid Wikipedia:Edit warring. May I respectfully suggest that if you believe some content is libelous that you make your case on the relevant talk page Talk:Dorothy A. Brown. Thank you and welcome. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Dorothy A. Brown. Hugh (talk) 06:15, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of Public Information CCC (talk · contribs · global contribs · page moves · user creation · block log) that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Mike V • Talk 06:05, 10 February 2015 (UTC) |
