Welcome to Wikipedia, Evrestsebretawhtoot! I am Mysdaao and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

The article Turning Adversity into Success has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability not established

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:31, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shortcut

If there a variable code which inserts the article name, is so, what is it? {{Helpme}} Evrestsebretawhtoot (talk) 01:12, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are looking for Magic words. A few different ones for your needs: {{FULLPAGENAME}} include the prefix, {{BASEPAGENAME}} does not. The link has all of them. —Preceding signed comment was added by Fetchcomms (talkcontribs) , but its signature was removed while fixing wiki markup errors.

Thanks, that's just what I was looking for! —Preceding signed comment was added by Evrestsebretawhtoot (talkcontribs) , but its signature was removed while fixing wiki markup errors.

No problem!  fetchcomms 01:28, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Categories

[edit]

{{Helpme}} Is there a way to add categories such as Wikipedians in Fremont, CA? toothwaterbestserve 02:31, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Yes. Go up to the upper right hand corner of a Wikipedia page and click on "my preferences" > "gadgets" then check off the box about 'HotCat'. That will add a small box near the bottom of a page that will enable you to add categories to a page.  IShadowed  ✰  02:36, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
