[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Sorry!
[edit]Robvanvee, jpgordon, Sorry, I'll go add sources right now. By the way, the Morgan Wallen album, in terms of producers, was wrong. I looked at that particular source and found that the information was wrong, so I corrected it. Just click on the source and you'll see that I made the right correction. If you look at the page for his "Dangerous:The Double Album", it lists the correct producers right below the track listing. The page is all corrected now. Don't block me again! That was a nightmare to get unblocked in the first place.

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Little Bit of Life (song). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Continuing the disruption of Pennsylvania IP Special:Contributions/173.67.142.14. Binksternet (talk) 01:58, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
Hello, I'm TenPoundHammer. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Mr. Misunderstood have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. I own the album and it doesn't have any liner notes at all, nor any other musician credits. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 18:25, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hi TenPoundHammer, I wasn't engaging in an edit war. I recently found the liner notes on Discogs.com. Is there another source you want me to use? Can I try and add the personnel to that album again? I swear that it's the correct liner notes. I don't edit things unless it's the correct information. Or should I leave the page as is for now? EvanTheMusicMan (talk) 03:36, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
- Discogs is not a reliable source, as its content is generated by users and could be prone to misinformation or vandalism. I own a copy of Mr. Misunderstood and it does not have any musician credits in it whatsoever. Even AllMusic doesn't list any musician credits, which corresponds to my copy of the album. I'd say leave it alone for now, especially since you're doing things like citing "album notes" for a digital-only EP. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 04:18, 23 February 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
I'm sorry that I made other users think I was engaging in an edit war with them. I have NO intentions of engaging in an edit war of any kind with any other users. I looked up what edit wars were because I truly had no idea what they were. I know a lot more about editing on this website than I did a couple days ago. I'll take this information with me as I continue my work on this website in the future. I promise to include sources to back up the information I find. I hope you will unblock me.
Decline reason:
What really catches my eye in your request is: "I looked up what edit wars were because I truly had no idea what they were.".
As TenPoundHammer noted when he started the AN/I thread, brief as it was, you have been here editing (except when you were blocked) for three years and change. If you really mean that seriously, it explains a lot of things—particularly this talk page full of warnings and other communications you have never bothered to respond to until now. This request is thus little more than the sound of the barn door locking after the horses have been stolen repeatedly. You have no excuse. Especially when your block log includes an administrator's comment on your unblock that you now "seem to understand what edit wars are" ... only for us to be right back here again months later deeply regretting that assumption. Like the song that I quote and link to sometimes when making denials, "you go back, Jack, and do it again ... Wheel turnin' round and round, you go back, Jack and do it again". Why should we take a third chance when you let us down like that?
And if, as you say, you have learned more about this website in the past two days then you did in three years before that ... well, again, what does that tell us when it took you being blocked indefinitely for the second time to go on that voyage of discovery? I think no one, perhaps not even you, at this point could disagree that you and Wikipedia are better off when you don't edit. Because the question you didn't answer, much less ask yourself it seems, is why you couldn't have done this when you weren't blocked, when it might have made a difference.
And, again, as noted, it's well past too late to bother with it now.
Lastly, if you meant that line about only having learned what an edit war is now as a joke, you should not in my opinion ever be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:43, 24 February 2023 (UTC)

I have absolutely NO intentions of engaging in an edit war with any other users. If users believe I'm warring with them, I want to sincerely apologize to those that think I am. Request reason:
I've been declined twice to get me unblocked. Over the past couple hours, I really took into account what I might've been doing that got me blocked. I realized I was editing on my phone and my iPad while not logged into my account. I believe that's why people think I'm engaging in an edit war while I was really making small changes while on the go not taking into account that this site monitors those edits I do while not logged in. Once you unblock me, I'll log into my account on my other devices. I deserve to be unblocked because I source every single edit and I promise not to engage in an edit war with other users. I hope to get back to editing soon. I've been editing on this website for almost three years and I care about getting my information correct. Can you give me at least a specific date and time when I'll be unblocked if this request gets declined or do I have to start all over with a brand new account? If this gets declined, what do you want me to learn? What do I have to do in order to get back to editing? I hope you will unblock me please. Again give me a date and time please, not indefinitely. EvanTheMusicMan (talk) 16:28, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Us putting an end date on the block does nothing to convince us that you understand what got you blocked in the first place. Blocks are not a punishment, but a means to prevent disruption to Wikipedia. In order to remove a block, we must be convinced that the disruption will not resume. The myriad issues involved with this block aren't resolved with this request. You've promised before and here we are. I am declining your request and I highly advise you to take much time considering any further reply, the standard offer would probably be a good idea. 331dot (talk) 21:29, 24 February 2023 (UTC)

Requesting an unblock so soon after being told to take substantial time away and come back under WP:SO will count against you. I very, very strongly recommend you remove your open unblock request before someone reviews it, declines it, and closes down your talk page access. --Yamla (talk) 22:02, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
Yamla, I don't want to take a six month break. I want to be back editing as soon as possible. How much time should I spend on an editing break? I have high-functioning autism and I want to be back on this site ASAP. This block feels like having my phone taken away from me. I need some advice. I acknowledge that I messed up but don't really know how to express it. I'm kind of getting desperate at this point. Can you please reconsider your decline please?
- You should take at least a six month break from en.wikipedia. At least. Maybe longer. During that time, you should find another project to contribute to. You should be careful there, then make a substantial number of contributions over many months with no problems. Then, no sooner than 2023-08-25, come back here, show us these contributions and show that you were able to contribute with no problems. I'll warn you, I think it's unlikely you'll be ready to do this by 2023-08-25, and you certainly won't be ready before that date. --Yamla (talk) 11:04, 25 February 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
I was blocked in late February for unconstructive editing and editing while not signed into my account. Over the past three months, I decided to focus my editing and feedback skills on another guilty pleasure website, Google Maps. I would edit out places that didn't exist anymore and also send feedback to what areas are missing "street view" and what "street view" areas need an update because the views are almost 15 years old in some places. It seems like it worked because in my area in the past few weeks, I've been seeing both Google Maps and Apple Maps cars go by my house and casually driving by them with 360 degree cameras. It looks like my feedback has worked and I'm proud of that. At the same time, I've been trying to get myself unblocked. I've gone on to realize that another reason that I got blocked is because I edited some pages, mostly country album liner notes, with unreliable sources such as Discogs. I had no idea they were unreliable until somebody wrote to me on talk page and said it was unreliable. I wrote back and said a simple thank you and I won't do it again. The next day, I was blocked! I hope that you can reverse this block because I ultimately believe it was accidental. I've also racked up a list of rappers and hip-hop artists on my "notes" app on my phone who have had albums, mixtapes or EPs come out since late February. Usually, I would update their discographies using Apple Music as a source. I've called the list "albums to add to Wikipedia after unblocking". I hope you see that I'm ready to get back to work. But I'm going to use reliable sources this time around. I'm also willing to take constructive criticism from my fellow editors. If they think I've done something wrong, I'll correct it. I'm ready to get back to editing.
Decline reason:
You have said that you are willing to listen to feedback, while simultaneously demonstrating that you are not. Above, you were instructed to wait an absolute minimum of six months before asking to be unblocked again, and you then came back in less than three. I will be revoking your access to this talk page; further unblock requests may be made via WP:UTRS. But I will reiterate that you are very strongly advised to wait until at least the end of August before doing that. Seraphimblade Talk to me 06:44, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- While not the specific reason for the decline, I would also note that we would want to see contributions somewhere they can actually be verified, and while I'm glad you're proud of your work with maps, I don't think there is a way to verify what you've done with those. There are many other Wikimedia projects, such as Wikisource, Wikiquote, Wikimedia Commons, and so on. Additionally, if you speak any language other than English, there are Wikipedias in many other languages. Being blocked on the English Wikipedia doesn't affect your ability to participate in any other Wikimedia project, so if you can demonstrate positive contributions without disruption on one of those projects while you are waiting, that would go a long way toward helping with a future appeal.
