1957 Austrian national final
[edit]Hello, do you have any further details on the 1957 Austrian selection, like the number of songs or who sang? Are you also planning on publishing your 1957at sandbox page into a real Wikipedia article? Jusherman (talk) 15:29, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi,
- sorry for the late answer. Well it's complicated with Austria 1957. Sources are very rare. Austria didn't have a big press and TV magazines landscape at that time so the number of sources are limited and I haven't found much about the NF yet.
- For the moment, I have assembled a few bits of information but that's not enough for an article. But should I be so lucky to find more details about artists and or songs, then the goal is to transform it into an article.
- So the search continues... --EurovisionLibrarian (talk) 07:42, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
- P.S: Please do not edit my personal sandbox articles, thank you! EurovisionLibrarian (talk) 08:00, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
1956 French final
[edit]Hello, do you know exactly how the 1956 French Eurovision national final worked? Did the show function the same as Sept Villes (1957fr)? Do you also know how Mathé Altéry or her song were selected? Jusherman (talk) 17:33, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, no unfortunately not. Everything that I know about the French selection of 1956 is in the corresponding article. It surely didn't work the same way as "Sept villes". "Sept villes" was a TV program with juries from different cities. As far as the scarce information for 1956 tells us, "Le palmarès de la chanson inédite" was a radio program with listeners voting, and it was a regular program with several seasons.
- By the way, I have left you a message on your talk page regarding your edits of Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 1956. You made changes to the results table without giving any reliable source. This is contrary to Wikipedia's guidelines. When editing and adding new information, it is always important to give a reliable source per WP:PROVEIT. I have undone your changes. EurovisionLibrarian (talk) 19:48, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
