My name happens to be the name of the user page that I edited, and I actually made that user page myself several years ago when I was experimenting with Wikipedia (I no longer remember the user login information for that account, evidently). Pointless Game Show episode guide

Hello, This is just a note about something that I am confused about. I've noticed that an unregestired user deletes the episode guide on the Pointless Game show page which you reverted once and was reverted again. I think it was concerning another edit war on another UK game show page. I am not really positive what is going on and why the episode guide is being targeted. Greetings EuroCar, sorry for a FAQ, but can you please help me with any specifics? Is it the inclusion of the names of artists the subject has shown with - or exactly how it is written? In the artworld, when important museums curate exhibitions with some of the worlds leading artists, it is not only a reflection on the notability of the subject, but also the quality of exhibitions themselves. I thought i wrote it in a way that reflects this with neutrality. Also I suspect the term "major works" may be considered "peacock" but how else to describe the difference between an insignificant contribution and a significant one? Hello Hindsite! The article tone seems to be like a personal essay, rather than something encyclopedic. I would edit the article so things sound neutral and tone which readers could understand and could hear the message. Also there are a few peacock terms in the article. I think that it does not make sense to have Jolly Rogers as a category insofar as there aren't any articles that could be either "subcategories" or "pages" in that category. If you can find or imagine any, then I am happy to leave it, but otherwise I think it would be better to eliminate it, since it just introduces noise in the categorization process. Middletown, VA Edits removed?

I had edited the Middletown, VA entry to reflect the closure of the Wayside Theatre there this summer; I noticed that you removed it. Since I am/was a patron and subscriber to the theatre, and had followed the rapid decline of it this past summer, the details I added were factual. Can you explain why they were removed? I have since modified the entry again to reflect the closure date ONLY.

Playism

Hello, I had an issue with my page, I was trying to change the title from 'Playism' to 'PlAYISM' in order to link with the Japanese version of the page. But even using {{DISPLAYTITLE:Desired Title}} I wasn't able to do it ... So I tried deleting the page to create a new one. Could you tell me what to do ? Thank you very much for your help :)

Beacon Hill, New South Wales - vandalism

"Beacon_Hill,_New_South_Wales" keeps getting reverted to its vandalised state. I'm not the one removing the content (I just happened to Google to the page) and understand that "unexplained removal of content" doesn't help your decision-making, however people are obviously attempting to remove the fake content.

Given the rapid reversals, there is probably little point for new users to attempt to clean up the page. I'm not sure if there is any way to flag this page for the attention of a trusted Sydney-based contributor.

Not being Wiki-savvy, please forgive my lack of linking. The page seems to have been first vandalised on '13:44, 12 June 2011‎' by '220.239.117.71'. If you look at that user's page, you'll see they have a history of vandalism.

The entire "Crime" section is completely fictitious, surely the "responsible for the uprising in Syria... and the control of the world-wide drug trade" should at least raise suspicion.

'Deekaysboyz' also introduced fictitious content throughout September 2011.

FYI, your initial reaction was correct. The changed numbers were clearly false as the resident population is not 67,995,709. Question about your feedback on the PowerCloud Systems articles submission

Hiya - you had rejected my initial article submission for PowerCloud Systems and gave me some helpful advice for submitting it. My question was around the citations I included, since they all were from respected trade journals and/or news sites, with the exception being a reference from an industry conference called Usenix. Was that the problem citation or did you have issues with all of them?

What I entered there won't even show up in the article, it's addressed to the guy who added that line, just like how he left that line there to address to editors. @129.65.207.11, please read WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT bullet point #11. All future services must have a full start date including the year. That's why an exact date is needed because Wikipedia is not a travel guide and is not a crystal ball. Hi EuroCarGT and IP129.65.207, I think there is some correctness in what you are both saying. There are hundreds of vandal edits made on WP every day. People like EuroCarGT and myself review these edits to ID vandalism and we then revert them and notify the editor. If I saw IP129's edit of "why not?" I would have handled it the same way EuroCarGT did. However, now IP129 is saying (I think) that it was not vandalism and that he was asking a good faith, sincere question to the editor who placed the hidden warning there. In that case I would not call it vandalism but rather a misplaced question that should have gone on the user's or article's talk page. And I would categorize that edit now as an innocent mistake by IP129 as he is appears to be a new editor and may not have been aware that the question belongs on the talk page. So I think both of you are right and I hope you will have some compassion for each. One that Vandal patrollers like EuroCarGT and myself have only limited info and we sometimes make mistakes and 2) that IP129 should have put the note on the talk page but he/she didn't know all WP's procedures and made that mistake innocently. So there's no wrong here just a situation that needed a little explaining. Thanks to you both for your contributions to WP. I'm new to copy editing on wikipedia, but from what I've read, the content of any page is supposed to be encyclopedic, with minimal endorsement or aggrandizement. In the relevant sentence, "This temple is one of the largest, most enchanting, serene and most frequently visited temples in Goa.", the words "most enchanting" and "serene" make it sound like an endorsement or an advertisement.

Aviation Beauport Ltd page rejection

Hi there,

I am writing a page on Aviation Beauport Ltd which you reviewed recently. Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at the page - I just had a few questions regarding how to rectify the rejection message. You cited that there were insufficient verifiable sources - I linked to 5 sources, all of which are still current and published online and able to be accessed by any member of the public. All 5 of these sources are independent of Aviation Beauport. In comparison, a quick look at a similar company to Aviation Beauport such as Hangar8 on Wikipedia shows them to have just one reference in total, and this is from an advertising website that they paid to be listed on. Furthermore you mention that we should include information about our runways - we are not an airport so we do not have runways. As mentioned in the post, we are based at Jersey Airport, of which there is a seperate Wikipedia page detailing the runway. Please clarify what further information we can provide that will be deemed suitable.

False positive for vandalism

Ah ok - I would ask the author if they wanted it moving into their actual userspace but to be honset, I think the article could qualify as notable already. I'll add a {{notability}} to the article to get it improved in this area and remind the user of WP:COI, although I think he's familiar with it already.
