RE: About Raven Bishop
[edit]Understand that Wikipedia has notability guidelines for creating new articles about people, places, bands, etc. Raven Bishop does not meet the WP:BIO guidelines of notability, so I'm afraid it is better not to recreate it. Thank you.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:20, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
The picture is not an issue, just realize that it is better not to recreate an article called Raven Bishop. However, the picture could be deleted if it is not linked to by any Wikipedia page. If you want place the picture on your Wikipedia user page in order to prevent it from being possibly deleted in the future. Hope this helps.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:28, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Are you refering to this picture uploaded by your other account? All you need to do to license it is add the following tag to its summary: {{PD-self}}.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:36, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
As I said the article fails WP:BIO guidelines. The picture however can be placed on your user page.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:46, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
I am trying to explain to you that the person in question does not meet WP:BIO guidelines to be included. She and her work unfortunately are not notable enough to merit her a page on Wikipedia. If she does gain enough notability to meet WP:BIO guidelines then a page is completely merited.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 00:27, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
And once again it was tagged for speedy deletion: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Raven_Bishop&diff=93303210&oldid=93302906 . Please understand that Wikipedia cannot contain the biographies of every artist, poet, or songwriter. I myself enjoy writing original poetry but I limit the information about it to my user page not a Wikipedia article.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 05:12, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Etta I have left you several messages, the article regarding yourself is not considered notable enough. You are missing several WP:BIO requirements. Your body of work has not gained enough notarioty to have an article on Wikipedia about yourself. At this point its considered blatant advertising to keep recreating it. Please consider contributing to other Wikipedia articles rather than continually trying to recreate the one about yourself. Thanks.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 05:19, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Etta I understand you are an aspiring artist much like myself however at this current time you do not have the requirements to have a Wikipedia article. If your body of work becomes printed by notable publishers and your work is recognized by multiple notable independent reviews or awards then the circumstances would be otherwise. First I would suggest that you read WP:BIO to get an idea of the notability required for Wikipedia.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 05:27, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Just a suggestion, Etta. Create the page as a User Page sub/page (e.g. User:Etta85/Raven Bishop; click the link and paste in your old Wikitext), edit there, and when you have several notable, third-party references (news clippings, web reviews, audience blog mentions), then your article may pass the WP:BIO criteria. Please review => Autobiographies, Conflict of interest, What WP is not. HTH, David Spalding ta!k y@wp/Contribs 17:07, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Dear David, I found your formula useful. Can you read my latest edit of my bio and see what you think of it?
Sincerely,

- I'm glad I could help. The page is nice and brief, but IMHO probably not ready for prime time. Have you read and understood the guidelines and policies cited for you above? David Spalding (☎ ✉ ✍) 02:24, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
